Mornin' BBB.
I'm a big fan of the occasional hamburger.
Even reverse seared myself a nice T-bone this weekend. While resting, topped it with homemade garlic and herb butter and torched the butter with a cigar lighter that poses as a kitchen torch. Otherworldly. I don't eat a lot of red meat, and when I do it is usually venison. Maybe that is why that steak was so good.
'70 Dodge Valiant was my third car, inherited by me dad from me grandma. Purred like a kitten, but it couldn't get out of its own way. I will say it had a trunk that lended itself well to strapping my first buck into after I dragged it out of the woods.
Broken ribs are no joke and slow to heal. Ouch.
That house is the definition of "tacky", Lou. I promise to try and purge and poop for my children's sake.

- Awaiting lumbar MRI. Something still feels off. Legs are collapsing from underneath me. Walking with a hunch. Ugh.
- Can't seem to get my act together for finishing Christmas shopping.
- DBIL; cousin; and nieces all descend on Friday. Not happy about playing AirBnB for a week - but so it goes.

Morning BBB
I crafted a stern but respectful letter to the car broker last night. Hopefully they will refund at least some of the final payment. They did find us a car but it wasn't pain-free or seamless as promised. I'll hit send as soon as we return from errands...I do not want to get a return phone call while at quest or the grocery store.
Hoping you can get some relief Skip. I'm amazed how fast you get in to see docs...we are waiting 1-8 weeks for appointments. I'm going to look into Mayo clinic today.0 -

Steph - it helps that we have several options for specialized treatment in this urban area. And, every now and again, I may be guilty of playing the, "....hi, this is Dr. Powers. I need to make a first available priority appointment" phrase. It sometimes (nay, most times.....okay, always) works.

Morning BBB
Nice high school winter holiday choir concert last night for Angel my 16yo dgd. Her baby brother only made a peep second to last song and so his dad took him out lol. Baby did good and was so cute with his little Santa hat on. The ladies loved him lol
Good luck Lou with the purge.
Hope youborh with back troubles find relief finally. My knee it toast. Ignoring isn't working.
And I hope Steph gets a full refund!

- I started the day with my Emmaus Reunion Group.
- Tough duty Lou. I'll be thinking of you.
- Good luck with the backs guys. That can't be any fun.
- After 6 weeks of a hacking cough turned to a cold I think I have about recovered in time for our cruise. That reminds me, I need to start packing.
- If you remember I offered to donate a kidney to a neighbor but was turned down. He got a kidney transplant yesterday and both he and the new kidney are doing well.

Good Afternoon,
Had to take Pablo to urgent care this morning, $284 later he has a digestive issue, special food for next week and he is a sleep on sofa.
Swearing in this afternoon to Board of Equalization for another tree years.
Purging parents home is a major pain, took seven dumpsters for parents house, at least city provided the dumpsters or I would have had several thousand in dumpster cost.
