Very good day with DW and DS#2 (and the pups). Video chatted with Laddy and his 'rents.
Prime ribeye roast came out pellet smoker to perfection. Smoked the detached ribs too...they might have been tastier than the roast. DW nailed the yorkshire pudding and the gravy.
I would have killed for a good spinach salad though.
Ahoy Dennis and Kris! Sounds like you are on a slow boat to Hawaii. Dinner sounded good. Their pastry chef needs to work on pecan pie.
Hope you get seen today Skip and that the hordes have retreated.
Get home OK, and in time to celebrate with Cecilia?

A wonderful Christmas day, evening had by us here. The baby(s) first Christmases seem to have been good ones, for this gma & gpa too.
Ds1 will depart tomorrow for a long drive back to DC
No white Christmas here its been in the foggy 40s and 50 last few days.
I got a new book to start this morning, while ds1 and dh catch some zzz's. We are off all week... yay.
Enjoy Hawaii Dennis. Are you on the Pride of Hawaii ship? I innogerarted that ship with my bff travel agent....

Good morning and Happy Gift Return Day, folks!
I got in TWO naps yesterday and I still slept last night. I was pretty exhausted. The allergic trigger from all the dust in the basement continues to linger and I'm rapidly going through my pocket full of fast food napkins as a result.
Cecilia has confirmed that she's coming back on Friday as planned. Her purpose for going to Brazil - getting her mom back on track - has been fulfilled, so she's ready.0 -
Good morning BBB friends.
We had a wonderful day, yesterday, with one exception. The hose for the sprayer on the kitchen sink sprang a pinhole leak. Numerous layers of duct tape failed to stop the leak, so today I will shop for a new upgraded faucet. I have convinced Rita that we need to call a plumber to swap the equipment out. I put in the current faucet myself, almost 20 years ago. But mt days of lying on my back under the sink and working at awkward angles are in my past.

- This is our last sea day enroute to Hawaii. Tomorrow we will be in Kauai.
- Mary, we are on the Crown Princess. I booked a balcony room but got an upgrade to a mini-suite. We are living in luxury.
- When we get home I need to get the garbage disposal replaced and DW wants a new kitchen faucet.
- We have good friends who are from Tarpon Springs, a Greek fishing community.
- I know it will be good to have Cecilia Home.
- And in VA I know it will be good to have your home back.
