Gary loves his car more than life itself. At least more than the 3 of us that live in this house. Ha.
It’s been raining here too. I’m ready for it to be over. I THINK I’d rather have snow.
Weighed in at WW down 3.8#. Woot. I would like to lose 10# before February 3rd when we leave for the cruise. I got this!!

Has anyone ever priced a driver and bus or transport van for wedding guests? Wiener. I have it all figured out. Renting a 15 passenger van from turo and paying a driver we can trust. Saving THOUSANDS. no joke.

Pablo has been out, fed and now a sleep on DW.
He had a grooming appointment for today and they called yesterday three of their groomers are out with flu, now scheduled for 22nd. With predictive temps dropping wondering if we should wait so he does not get too cold. Also wonder if he needs a coat.
Don't blame Gary, back in day I always had a convertible for spring and summer and large four-wheel drive for winter, though seldom needed to run-in four-wheel drive.
No plans for today, thought DW needs to go check on her mom.

Morning gang
New car is working out great. Finally got a call back from the broker and got half of our money back. I'm guessing Skip would have gotten it all back but honestly I'm over it. I have the money and I don't need the stress.
Still can't get my phone to connect to android auto but we almost always use Ron's phone for music and maps so not a huge deal. The guy from subaru that was supposed to come yesterday rescheduled and he should be able to help. I'm sure it's user error.
We had a tornado warning here yesterday. I probably should find out where the shelter is since there is no basement. We were on the phone with the car broker during the worst of the storm so didn't really even know it was anything except the high winds and rain we knew was happening.
Way back when I was researching where to move; north of Raleigh was what I was thinking. That had a lot to do with the ready tech jobs though so our criteria has changed. Plus weather, airport, distance to beach and mountains.
We will putter around this morning and then head north. Even if we take backroads it's only about a 2.5 hour drive and we can't check in until 4pm. I want to check out a few state parks on the way. And a cute little store called PopShelf. If you have never been your should check it out. It's like the target dollar spot has a baby with dollar general.0 -

- We got drenched yesterday too. Never left the house.
- Today I am headed to Augusta for an Audiologist appt. with the VA.
- I still think of my CR-V as new and it's 4 years old now. I know Skip, you can't relate.

I miss my '93 Nissan Pathfinder. The was when an SUV was really a four-wheel drive, not a glorified station wagon. We gave the Pathfinder to my son, when he was in college 15 years ago. Other than that, I am like Lou.
Had the grandkids overnight. Will drop them at school, then take Sassy to school for the day at a trainer.0 -
