Oh yeah, like Steve, I worked yesterday.
Cold snap here. 16 degrees yesterday morning. Warmed up to 20 degrees this morning with a touch of snow.
Just researched post radiation therapy hormone treatment for prostate cancer. Lots of options. Made my head spin a bit. Sounds like you guys have weighed the pros and cons. I'm confident you will make the right decision for you.
I read this morning that streaming NFL playoff games will most likely be the new norm.
So, have you had "the talk" with the vet about whether to take Pablo's testosterone factories away or not?
Onward and downward ;-)

Good morning!
-14 when I took Frankie out this morning. 5th record low in a row. Last night the weather guy pointed out that on Aug 19, we had 121 heat index. Yesterday we had -34 wind chill. At 155 degrees swing, he pointed out that there are few places on the planet that have that large of a range possible. Oh lucky us!
Connie subscribes to Acorn (British), and Netflix. We also have cable. Entertainment is expensive.
December is published, but I still need to do sales tax for 18 states. That will start today. Most states have the 20th as a deadline.
Have a great day!1 -
Good morning gentlemen.
It's 16 in Tumwater - a new record low for the date. It will rise above freezing this afternoon and start a cold rain, which will turn to freezing rain as the temp drops in the evening. It should all be better by the time I make my very early trip to the hospital tomorrow. Hope Bob gets through the day OK. The forecast for Portland and much of Western Oregon is for an ice storm this afternoon, with lots of downed limbs and power outages.
We did all the shopping to get us through the next couple weeks. I go through the pre-op scrub tonight and tomorrow morning. DDIL is picking me up at 4:30. My operation is scheduled for 7:30. If all goes according to plan, I should be ready to go home by mid-day.
Spending some time making shavings today. It calms my nerves.0 -
Dave, gook luck with the surgery.
Snowing all day so far. Ran some errands earlier and hunkering down rest of day. Cooked a pot of chili; will work on decluttering this afternoon.
Found possibly affordable house online—has room enough, a big yard, borders a farm and across from a golf course. Downside is location— 30-45 minutes farther from my kids and GKs. Weighing pros and cons…

Good Afternoon,
Physical therapy this morning, do not see it helping
Trying to get Pablo's digestive system straightened out first, can't seem to slow down his diarrhea; plan now is put him on antibiotics then try and restore biosystem in gut. Also start identifying possible food allergies.
Prayers for Dave tomorrow that all goes well,
I had ask you all to keep cold up there, did anyone listen? Noooo
Prayers continue for Bill and Bob
I had a program for sales tax where it was just the process of running each jurisdiction.0 -
Good Afternoon
Late check in after running a bit late to get out the door for my treatment. I had a good talk with my radiation oncologist this morning. While referring the hormone therapy toward my Urologist, she did remind me that my Gleason score put my in the high risk category but said my questions were valid and there were flexible approaches. She also said I should be good to go for back surgery 4 weeks after radiation is finished which is good news. Oregon is getting closer. Dave, I will be praying that all goes well tomorrow. I will pray for Rita as well as she has the hard job of waiting.0
