Anyone using Shitake noodles? I ordered a six pack and after 3 tries, I haven't got it right yet.
Do you have a tegaderm bandage over the incision, Dave? Is there more than one incision? Hope your painfulness is subsiding.
Am surprised Ron has problems with gout. Obviously not diet related. Hope it resolves quickly.

- It snowed another 3 inches overnight, and my back is in pain from shoveling our small driveway. I'm feeling frustrated!!
- SGM, I hope you're taking care of yourself and not overworking. Why don't you cuddle up with Sassy and watch some movies?
- I was looking forward to having a wine night with our neighbors, but it seems like everything has been cancelled due to the snow.

We got just a dusting of light snow overnight and temps climbed into the teens woohoo. Slippery roads this morning though. I don't need to be anywhere.

We met our newly hired estate lawyer yesterday. We'd liked him. It'll be good to get this done! Feels good we took first steps. Been overdue.
Lots of NFL Packer hype around here obviously for Sat nights game. Packer fans are a loyal group for sure. Showing the love for Love#10.

Careful what you do, Skip. You have a lot of miles on that back, and you can't trade it in.
Tried to cuddle my pup yesterday and she was a bit too heavy. She is frustrated. So am I. I will say it doesn't hurt quite as much, this morning, because that is my desire, though, to be honest, it seems about the same. I have one incision, six inches long. No wimpy arthroscopic surgery for me. I got the full experience. The surgeon made sense when he explained why. I do have some Tegaderm bandages to put over the dressing when I shower. They gave me four of them, so I won't be showering every day.
I don't have a team to root for, so I'll pull for individuals. The tight end for Tampa Bay, Cade Otten, is a graduate of Tumwater High School, so I'll root for him.0 -

You are right about Ron's gout. He hasn't had a flare-up in years since he has been vegan. But since he lost so much weight (he was 142 at last appointment) he has added in regular ice cream and we have been having more beers than normal. I'm not sure if he is going to go on the preventative meds again or just cut those out.
He slipped on some water that dripped out of the dishwasher last night and fell pretty hard bruising his hand, foot and elbow. He's not so hurt as just despondent that his balance is still off. This 8s his first fall however.

- Don't tear the curtains, Pablo. Mom won't like it.
- What Sam said about our weather, but he missed the part that we have 20+mph winds.
- We were supposed to ride to Cedar Key, FL this weekend but canx due to weather. Smart move.
- Skip, riding buddy just bought a new Acura RDX. It fits in a Del Webb garage.
- Steph, I just upgraded my Bitwarden account to premium to get the security reports. It's time to tighten things up. I am also changing my email address as the amount of junk mail has gone up exponentially.
- Get well Dave.
- DB was up and walking a bit yesterday. He has a long recovery road ahead of him.
