    Good morning!

Frankie woke me up at 4:30 this morning and I took her out in the -6 temps. When we got back inside, after I fed her I went back to bed. I got up again at 7:00. That is the way to do it. I will keep playing with that for a while.

Sam, your puppy is so cute!

Today is supposed to be our last day in the really deep freeze. After today, we will see a week in the low to mid 30s. A heat wave!

Dave, I hope that you are feeling better today.

Bill, I'm glad that you are now on the downward slope of your treatments.

Onward and downward for all of us!

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Well, I passed that hurdle. On the rest of my recovery. At least I have a good excuse for sitting around all afternoon watching football. Glad the pain level is down - a lot. I am getting by on ibuprofen and Tylenol. No more oxy for me.

    Have a great Saturday.

I fully agree with going back to bed Steve, Pablo will now sleep 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. except in rare occasions. Today he is being a little cuss, very cold outside and no one else is out so he wants me to play, too cold for me and his foolishness; maybe more folks will be out this afternoon for him to make sure he gets to talk to everyone.
Glad you are doing better Dave, oxy is good for pain but one has to consider side effects as with any medications.
Bill, sorry you did not get mid treatment done, but hard to believe you have already had 12 treatments; next 13 will pass fast, you know as we age time moves faster.
Lee, plowing snow or playing with girls?
Bob, hope you and DW are well.

    Good Morning

Dave, congratulations on moving off Oxy. My knee surgeon had me slowly switch over to Tylenol ER over a week, which went well.

A stretch of rainy weather is beginning so not much going to happen outside. Plenty to do around the house. I’ll be cooking up a batch of stew for dinner & some rolls so the house will smell good. Once again I find myself not regretting my decision to leave the NY/Philly area to head to LA and ultimately the Bay Area, given the weather many of you are having. I am a 100% Certified California Weather Wimp and proud of it. That reminds me we need to sell our snow shoes

Glad to here Dave that you are "moving on" in your recovery. I was probably younger when I had my spinal fusion of T4-T7 and was on oxy for quite awhile and taking Senokot S at the same time. Now I avoid opioids as much as possible.

We escaped power loss so far but know folks who lost their homes to fallen trees and power losses.
Kinda bummed today with my vision issues but hanging in there.
We are finally getting a warm up and local snow/ice melt really going in earnest yesterday.
Today the snow is truly gone except for the few clump/piles around.
Going out with DD tonight for birthday dinner.

Best thoughts and prayers for everybody.
