    Good morning!

I didn't feel real good this weekend. I have sinus issues that have caused a non-stop headache. I don't know that it is any better today, but I'm going to slide into work. We received ice last night. The deck was very slick this morning. I didn't go down the stairs, but watched Frankie from above. I hope the roads are OK.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

It has warmed up, out here: 45 this morning, heading to 51, but raining all day.

The incision is going to hurt for a while, I suspect, but it's less of an issue every day. I am pretty bored with YouTube and TV, and you can only take so many naps. I think I might venture into the shop, to putter around. Work will be slow, because I have to kneel down rather than bend to reach anything low, but I have a small project bowl I have been fooling with for a while that I can spend some time on without straining myself, I think.

    Morning…

Ice on pond was 7” thick when I drilled a test hole, and there were a dozen or more fisherpersons each on the other two ponds I drove by. And people are cross country skiing in the state forest. Not fishing today, postponed till tomorrow when it will be a bit “warmer”. Winter in New England.

DD once brought her Bernese Mtn dog, Rosie, to watch icefishing, and before we could stop her she ate one of the live minnows.

Turning off my screens for the day or I get nothing done.

    Good Morning

Dave, I am glad you are progressing well. I think you active lifestyle and mindset are serving you well. Did they give you an idea when you can start hitting the trails again?

Rain has finally showed up lightly but once again are forecasted rain has passed us by. Dave & Bob continue to hog the low pressure systems that were headed our way. We get just enough to be annoyingly damp out there. I spent most of yesterday keeping Heather company as she is under the weather. I plan on spending more time in front of my dulcimer to keep going. If humidity doesn't drop back down under 50% I will need to retune it once again. Its getting annoying. I have been off the wagon for the past week or so weight wise, I think I just got tired. But refocusing, especially on intelligent meal planning. Prayers continue for our small "Health" group's health.

Sorry about your ice Steve and headache!
I hear ya Dave. I am suppose to not bend forward at the waist and avoid situations where my left eye is lower than the level of my heart. Glad to hear your pain is becoming manageable.
Some of my various pre/post op instructions (some verbal and some written) have said "no driving". I did drive the snow tire rated clad Subaru legacy outback 9 days after the surgery to the store.

No ice fishing here. Oh my Mike! Bernese Mt Dogs are big indeed. The temperature has popped up to 49 degrees late Sunday and have had a lot of "warm" rain. Glad your DGS is back from Ecuador and the drug wars for sure. I think one of my classmates spent time in such a place and had some more serious issues.
Sam glad to hear Pablo is doing better with his overnight timing.

Wow Lee sorry about the deep freeze in your heated kennels.

Hope your wife is feeling better Bill so that she could enjoy Oven Roasted Chicken Shawarma.

I am calling the on-call eye doc this morning as my vision in left eye is not good at all first thing in the morning.
At bare minimum probably need an eye drop adjustment etc.

Had a nice B-day dinner out with DD, son-in-law and DGS last night. Tasty Jambalaya for me which should give me two more meals including lunch and dinner today. Tasty but too big.

    Prayers to all.
