    Mornin' BBB

How old is DGD, Sam? Poor kid. Hope it heals up properly without surgical intervention.
Mary, as you probably already know, the WW point system is keto friendly. Boneless and skinless grilled chicken breast and eggs and fish are zero points, but low fiber carbs will point you up quickly. I have a skinny cow ice cream cone (170 cal) for dessert almost nightly...cost me 7 points. An small no added sugar Oreo ice cream bar (190 cal) whacks me 11 points. I had a cup of cream of tomato soup from Panera last week that cost me 11 points.
I have been doing WW for 2 weeks and am down 3 lbs. I am eating a lot of eggs, LOL. I also wear a fitbit and it is synced with my WW app so it records activity points automatically.

    Good Morning,
Starting our day in 40's but wet.
Pablo got cleaned up yesterday so he believes he is too good to get out in rain.
Prayers for all dealing with pain and sickness,
    Dennis any update on DB?
Mary do you get 26 points or did you eat 26 points; I only get 23 points a day.
Kelly is only 11 days from a warm cruise
There are many styles and kinds of BBQ, EPA and Health department has halted true pit BBQ; but they should do something about an establishment saying they have BBQ which is a chunk of meat put in slow cooker with bottled barbeque sauce.

    Good morning

Well, I got my new fit bit charged up and will down load the app later. Get back on the dread mill now that wicked winter is here. Got to get up from my desk and walk around house too every so often. Trying some youtube easy yoga. Its a start. Or restart should I say....

    Be well BBB

    Good morning.

Saying that BBQ needs sauce is a sure way to get you put on a bus to Chicago from Texas Sam.

    How's DGD?

I can pack a lot of calories into 26 points, Mary. It's all about the mix of protein, sat fats, and worthless carbs. My little breakfast pita sandwich is 4 points and 150 calories. But the same 150 calories as a sugar/fat bomb can drain you 10 too.

    • Took a day off today.
    • Car wash later. Sleep study for the VA tonight (rescheduled from last week's snow event).
    • I need to start tracking. I become OCD with the tracker and app.
    • DBIL/DSIL arrived last night to help DW get her to X-Ray today on foot. Ugh.
    • Seized opportunity for DW and I to get out alone last night for Mexican.
    • Hope DGD is okay, Sam! Praying for DB, Dennis. Ugh. Sounds pretty dire.

    Good morning BBB friends.

I have been using the WW app since Dec. 22. I am allowed 23 points a day and have only come close to reaching that a couple times. I admit, I didn't track on Christmas, and would have gone way over if I had. Anyway, I am down more than 10 lbs. and two notches over on my belt. I have used the MFP tracker, in the past, but found it harder to use that the WW one. That's the only reason I can justify spending the money for the WW subscription.

We have a BBQ place we enjoy that is a 25-minute drive, out in the country. Their food is very good, but we love the people, too. I called them last fall, to ask if they took reservations, as I had a party of six for supper. They apologized and said they didn't do reservations. We decided to take our chances and drove out, anyway. When we got there, I was asked, "Are you David?" They were holding a table for six for me, using their caller ID, to get my name. If the place had filled up, I'm sure they would have used the table, but I thought that was pretty nice. The brisket was great, too.

It has warmed up, a lot, here. We'll be in the 50s today. It is dry, this morning, too, so I will try to walk a mile or two.

    Morning BBB

Our trip to see the Manatees was fun but it had already warmed up and they left the park for the day. But it was a nice walk and there were other animals to see.

Mary I'm on stridekick which is a tracker app that can link to your fitbit (or other device) we can do a challenge if you want.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • I started my day with my Emmaus Reunion Group.
    • Yeh, like I would want to do a step challenge with Steph! B)
    • DB is holding his own. His heart is beating on his own. He is still in an induced coma, but they may button him back up today.
    • My car needs washed but we are in for a rainy week, so it is going to wait.
    • I had a similar experience at the Rendezvous, a famous BBQ restaurant in Memphis. They don't take reservations but because I knew someone who knew the owner's son if I told them how many were in my party and when we were coming, they would be ready for us.

I usually fast until 3 or 4 pm then track. I can USUALLY stay within my 23 pts.

I’ll check out the step challenge
