This group name definitely caught my eye! About 2 years ago my thyroid went haywire and when my MD and I finally arrived at the right dose of Levothyroxine, perimenopause began quickly turning to even quicker weight gain, body aches, random hot flashes…you name it! It’s been a tough 2 years. I am so incredibly uncomfortable with this “menobelly” I can’t even stand it. Physical activity is tough on my joints because of the extra weight, but I continue to trudge on through my workouts. I’ve been following a low calorie, doctor-monitored plan with plenty of supplements for vitamin support and today I added an amino acid supplement to the mix. I had significant success with this plan pre-thyroid issue but I am having no luck this time around. Looking forwards to learning new tips and tricks to help and if I hear of something amazing I’ll be sure to share it here, too!
