    • Hope Dennis/Kris had a safe trek to VA!
    • Rained all night. 60's yesterday and 70's expected today. Alas, all the snow is gone. Hoping to get a carwash today!
    • No plans for the weekend. Conference football is all.
    • SGM - how's the back? Doc at the Univ of VA wants me to consider a neurostimulator implant. NFW!!!

    Fighting with HOA trying to get permission to install fence for Pablo.
    DS helping me pickup fence materials in morning from town about 35 miles north of here.
    Have not been able to get someone to install, three appointments from different ones and three no shows. Person came by yesterday but would not give me a set cost, May start myself where DS and DSIL will come help. Would rather give money to them anyway.

    My back is doing quite well, Skip. Neurostimulator sounds like something from Star Trek, doesn't it? Did he use a tricorder in making his examination?

    There is a produce store near our neighborhood, so my 2-mile walk, today, will have an object other than just getting in a walk. I'll have to be careful to not exceed the limit on what I am supposed to pick up.

    Ron had his initial call with Mayo this morning. Mostly just a "let's make sure you filled out the intake paperwork right" I need to get busy on planning that trip. I think we will stay in St Augistine and will probably stay for a few days before and after just for a change of scenery. We are grateful we have FIL's place but it's not extremely comfortable and the neighborhood is not very walkable, especially for a 55+.

    No plans for the day except Winn Dixie for coffee.

    Well, false start #2 today. We were packed, loaded and 90 miles down the road. We had stopped at Joanne's Frabrics in Augusta because... well, they had some kind of knitting needle Kris needed. We got a message from DSIL that DBs service wouldn't be until February 8th. We called and with help of her sisters she has things under control. We will go in 2 weeks. We than went shopping at the mall. We were within throwing distance of Ft Gordon SGM.
