    I had a fairly relaxing day yesterday. That said, I ended up with over 10K steps. Today will be more about chores and getting things done. Frankie let me sleep until 5:30 today.

    Lee, enjoy the time with the dogs… sounds like a lot of fun.

    I somehow lost 5 lbs. when I weighed yesterday, not even sure how I did it. Possibly just skipping sugar altogether has reframed my cravings; it’s the only thing I can think of that I have consistently done differently. Maybe a bit more active recently, but not so much to account for the loss. I’ll take it.

    DGS’s recital was great. He did Pop Goes the Weasel, and Yankee Doodle. Woot! He was first, the newest student. Other kids did more complicated stuff, and by the end were playing elaborate classical pieces amazingly well. The hall had a beautiful sounding Steinway grand piano. After hearing that, I definitely have to get over to tune Jonny’s piano so he’ll want to keep playing. His lessons are at an enormous, modern music center that has 2 concert halls, multiple performance and practice rooms, a restaurant/pub, an outdoor concert area, on acres of open land donated by J Giles widow I am told and funded by a local entrepreneur.

    Church this evening, getting out for a hike after lunch...

    I see I got lost in the Dulcimer Festival yesterday and neglected to check in. I did three more hours of workshops yesterday which went well. Today is the final day with just two sessions of concerts. I’m pretty tired these days so I am resting and fighting some pain issues but making things work but not accomplishing much. Sky is blue and cloudy but more rain is due later on. I need to figure out something to make for dinner. My son rocked a ham and pea pot pie last night. Lately I keep it simple and easy. I need to find some simple an easy WW friendly stuff to make.
