    Good morning

Brrr chilly in the house when you're up and out of bed this early. Hit the on switch to the fireplace and have coffee in hand. I'm Wide Awake!

My day consists of continued negotiations on a project in Dubai I'm chasing. I'm now, two discounts later, still $7k higher than their budget price. Oh well, raise your budget I'm firm now. This is my $150k booking for June, and the FL shop needs something to do this summer.

We are still looking for a newer used travel trailer or 5th wheel and prices are sky high ridiculous. Similar to the used car market. Crazy.

Our tax file has been completed. But not yet turned over to our guy. We need to call him.

Whats on tap for your day BBB?

    Make it a good day!

    TGIF!
    • Took day off. Back hurts. Work sucks. I felt I just needed a morale day. Tuck and I slept in and just went to SBUX. The day is looking better already!
    • Snow coming in tonight, ugh!
    • Mary, at one time I thought I recall Raine was selling their 5th wheel. It would be worth reaching out to her. If not, I'm betting she "knows a guy."
    • Have a great Presidents Day weekend, BBB.

    Good morning.

Morale days are good, Skip. Enjoy!

Yesterday was a rough one. Felt like I just bounced from one meeting to the next all day.

Got the quote back from the insurance company on my parents' roof and the adjuster recommended replacing the whole thing. So now I've got mental gymnastics to do on whether to invest the money in the deductible or just do the minimum to fix the immediate problem.

    Good Morning.
Used vehicles and RV's have really dropped in demand and prices, though many are upside down and can't afford to sale.
Lou, I always found when selling real estate; need to repair everything to get a higher price; otherwise only investors will buy generally no more than seventy cents on dollar.
Should get to upper 60's today then highs only in 40's tomorrow.
Got a few things I want to do if I can keep knee in place.

    Morning BBB

Lou will your parent home likely sell to a new homeowner? Or one who already has been a homeowner? In our market all 5 realtors we interviewed suggested full replacement since we were in the not starter home market. Not unhappy we did it, nearly full priced offer, no contingencies.

We spent all day yesterday drvining around, getting out for hikes and having a beer. This is a great area with lots of interesting little towns.

Today we are heading to Chimney Rock for 450+ stairs to a lookout. There is an elevator if we need it for the way down. The weather was a perfect sunny and 68 yesterday. Similar today with a few more clouds. This area is going on our "maybe forever" list. We are on Lake Lure near Asheville NC.

Tomorrow is going to be cold so looking for more indoor activities. The New Belgium brewery tour is booked but they do offer a few walk up tickets so might try for those.

Enjoy your much needed morale day Skip. I didn't take nearly enough of those. Or enough sick days. Working in retail most of my life it was expected you showed up everyday.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Yesterdays Dr. appt. was a bummer. Not because of bad new but no news. Basically, I was told that I need to make an appt. with a specialist. Yeh think they could have told me upfront.
    • Back issues are funny in the sense everyone has a story. A lot of them begin something like, My Aunt Betty's cousin Joe's neighbor had a bad back and...
    • I did sleep in the bed last night. That's a plus.
    • Obviously it depends on the numbers but a new roof on an older house is a big selling point.
    • One of these days I may have a story about a friend who sold air conditioning to a client in Dubai.
    • Lake Lure is a beautiful area. My riding buddy has a BMW and he bought it and gets it serviced at the dealer in Mills River. That usually requires a multi-day trip with lots of good riding in the area. Hendersonville is a nice town.

    Good morning BBB friends.

Still have snow in the yard from yesterday's surprise. Sassy loves it, me not so much.

Hope all find relief from those mysterious and nagging issues.

We've lived in this house long enough (22 years) that we will have to start checking the roof, but not yet.

There is a safety recall repair needed on our CRV Hybrid. That's my afternoon. Exciting.

    New roof is my vote.

Wedding is 1/2 hour north of us.

Sorry about all the back issues. I know. No fun!!

We’ve got snow headed our way too

Steph. North Carolina had great craft beer places. Amazon does stink sometime.
