Where do I record WEIGHT training (lifting at the gym)

Hi!
I have a Fitbit Inspire 3, and it's linked to MFP.
For steps things are pretty simple and obvious....the Fitbit is sending my steps (and calories burned for those steps) to MFP. No need to discuss this.
My question however is where do I log working out/lifting weights??
*I record my weight lifting session on by Fitbit watch (on the watch I hit the start and stop button then save button)
*I also record the weight lifting session in MFP under exercise (I enter Cardio, Weight lifting, 45 minutes)
Is the above wrong? Will it be double counted? Should I just record it on the watch and let it sync over?

If you go to the MFP section called log food further down after food log there should be a section called exercise. log it there.0

Yes I know "where" to log it. I meant I do not know if I should log weight lifting in Fitbit and/or MFP0

I just checked and there's no option to log weight training in Fitbit app... I think you should log that in MyFitnessPal.1

I log weight training in fitbit you just click on search instead of the standard favourite exercises and it'll come up0
