- DMIL decline worsens. She thought it was time to get up when I came back from walking dog at 5a. She's lost all dexterity and ability to lift arms/legs; just stiff "dead" weight. DW is having a rough time!
- I am so ready for a two-week vacation to ANYWHERE.
- Gonna be a busy day. Up since 4:30 - not sleeping well.

- We love our Split King adjustable. I have soft mattress; DW has firm. We bought on Memorial Day and applied a Veteran discount on top of that. Of course they are still way overpriced. Dennis, if you didn't know, shopmyexchange.com is for all Veterans now and most retailers will "match" their online prices. You have to sign up for SME - but i've saved quite a bit through them. Recently bought Jeans: Kohls was $70 with 50% off second pair. SME - same jeans, $44 (free shipping/no tax).

Sorry to hear about mil.
Funeral was very nice yesterday. Home before 1. 75 degrees here. Went for a walk and a bike ride. So nice.

We are in Santa Fe. Drove the longer route thru Taos as there are usually lots of month long rentals near there in the off season and lots of bike trails. It didn't seem our vibe...glad we took the detour.
Headed to metro Phoenix today. Have several stops along the way planned.0 -

So sorry about your DMIL, Skip. A difficult time of life.
Rita seems OK to me. She has had some migraine symptoms this week, but not as severe as in the past. She is still worried about the diagnosis on her elbow. Have to wait for Friday to hear what they say. It should be dry today, so she plans to be out working in the yard all day. Her idea of therapy.
I miss those cross-country drives. I crossed New Mexico and Arizona several times during my career. Beautiful part of the country. To me the drives were always as enjoyable as the destinations.0 -

The Victrola guys came by yesterday and underestimated the weight for their trailer, so they have to come back again today. ๐
Met a yard guy, two potential sidestep buyers on the house, a repair guy and someone else I can't remember. Also got to go out for dinner with my piece for her pre-birthday.

- Thoughts and Prayers for Carrie and her Mom. Tough duty indeed.
- I bought both of my last two Sony TVs from AAFES. Savings on tax alone for big dollar purchases make it worthwhile. I also purchase Office 365 from them on Memorial Day or Veterans Day when they are on-sale. If you are classified as a disabled Vet, you can shop in the brick-and-mortar store and the commissary. My 10% for tinnitus gets me in.
- What brand of mattress did you get Skip? There is one called Nectar that is considerably cheaper than the rest, but I have no idea if the quality is there or not.
- Yeh, I like the cross-country trips too, especially on two wheels.
- The best part of Louisville Lou is its bourbon country, for those of you who are allowed to partake.
