    • Surgeon has bumped my case to the last of the day - with a 2p start time now. #Ugh! Anxiety already high! Waiting has never been my most robust skill set.
    • We hit 75 here in DC area yesterday! WOW!
    • The DGD's swap out today - one headed back to San Antonio and the other one coming to stay until I get home. Praying DMIL doesn't checkout before I do. DW is a wreck - way too much on her plate.

    • Hang in there Skip, let's hope this is the surgery that brings lasting relief. Prayers for Carrie, she's going through a lot. Prayers for your DMIL.
    • It is prime motorcycle riding season here and I'm benched. Blah.
    • I started reading "The Exchange" by John Grisham. It's a follow on to "The Firm". Good stuff.
    • The Kuhn's are in my prayers.

    Hope all goes well Skip.

    It's moving day for us. We didn't fully unpack but still have some packing to do.

    We found a fun bar yesterday. It's right next to our current place so will be about 1mile of a beach walk from new place. Good prices and interesting mix of tourists and expats with a few locals too.

    Good afternoon BBB friends.

    By now, Skip is through his surgery. I hope all went well and he finds relief from his pain.

    My mom passed in her sleep Monday night, after a happy day out with my sister. She tried out a new hamburger place in Salem and said she liked it. We hate to lose her, but her passing was peaceful and without suffering. God was good.

    I'll be duplicating Lou's travels in the coming months. There is a lot to do to settle mom's affairs and liquidate her estate. Thankfully, my brother and sister will shoulder more than their share of the load, I am sure, since they both live there, in Oregon.

    Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers.
