New Team Monthly Challenges (Goals) for June, 2024 Coming

Good Evening Team,
Congratulations on a Great Job in Meeting your Goals for the Month of May. I encourage you to keep pushing on for another successful month; let’s Finish Strong!

For the Month of June we are focusing on:
1. Eating Right
2. Getting Regular Physical Activity
Let’s Review:
Focus on the Goals we want to accomplish in June!
Food for Thought: What is the number 1 thing you can do to stay healthy?
Be physically active for 30 minutes most days of the week. Break this up into three 10-minute sessions when pressed for time. Healthy movement may include walking, sports, dancing, yoga, running or other activities you enjoy. Eat a well-balanced, low-fat diet with lots of fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
Regular physical activity is one of the most important things you can do for your health.
Being physically active can improve your brain health, help manage weight, reduce the risk of disease, strengthen bones and muscles, and improve your ability to do everyday activities.
What are the Benefits of Physical Activity?
Regular physical activity is one of the most important things you can do for your health.
Being physically active can improve your brain health, help manage weight, reduce the risk of disease, strengthen bones and muscles, and improve your ability to do everyday activities.
I have included suggestions to get you started for your Nutrition and Fitness Goals you hope to meet this month.
Team Goal Suggestions for Nutrition
Drink 6 to 8 Glasses of Water per day
Aim to eat 5 to 6 servings of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables per day
Stay within your Calorie Range
Aim to get at least 25 grams of Fibre per day
Team Goal Suggestions for Fitness
Aim to do Cardio exercises 5 days a week or more; aiming for 30 minutes per session
Aim to Strength Train 3 days per week between 15 and 25 minutes per session
