Went to DGS’s Tee-ball game early this morning. Comical to watch. Will get to church later with DD.
Yesterday’s family gathering was nice but a total collapse of good eating habits. As we waited for shush kabob to start grilling, I nibbled on donuts, chips with guacamole, then pizza, and afterwards there were two (2) birthday cakes offered. Ughhh. Today’s a new day and start of a new week.
Good luck with the books this week Steve. Lee, have a great trip and enjoy your GS. Sam, can the do something for your eye? Dave, should name truck Nelliebelle.0 -
OK, I posted, but on the wrong day. Copy and paste below.
Good morning gentlemen.
Hope Spain is nice.
The truck did well on all the chuck holes and washboards. Much better than our car. No name for the truck. Naming vehicles just seems strange to me. I think that's more of a Southern thing. I call it "the truck."
DGS' soccer game was fun, yesterday, the rain held off. We went out for tasty burgers at a local place, afterwards. This morning, DGD is playing in a marimba band at the farmers market, so we're missing church. Choir is done singing for the summer.0 -
“The Truck”? Kinda boring. I nominate “Hawkeye”, after James Fenimore Cooper’s famous woodsman and explorer.
I had a good day at the Dulcimer Festival yesterday. Great prep for making some progress with some better structure and game plan. One class was a clunker which turned out to be a lot of random theory about chords. An hour of listening to him prattle on left me with a headache. I noted a lot of people turning off their camera’s as he went on. A couple of concert sessions this morning and afternoon to finish things off. I got a short walk in yesterday and hope for another today gut willing0 -
Been AWOL for awhile. Seems like Lee was lost in Brisketville and fishing trout with flies. Have a great trip in Spain. We loved going to Spain and spent some time in Cadiz too where my Flamenco Singer Dancer teacher was from (Rafaela de Cadiz).. They didn't speak a word of english at this small place she recommended but we did just fine.
glad you are doing better Mike. When I had a catastrophic accident one time they waited to do an ultrasound until after I started PT. Big mistake as I did have a clot in my leg. Duh should have checked first. Luckily no repercussions.
Hang in there Steve until next Friday. sounds like it is great to be going.
I don't name bikes or cars myself either.
Hope you are doing better Bill.
Cheers all
