Hi I'm Maddy. I'm 70 vegan for around 13 years and vegetarian for a number of years prior. I've struggled to lose weight since menopause so trying MFP again. Happy for any tips!!

    Hi, Maddy: Welcome to the group!

    I'm Ann, age 68, vegetarian for almost 50 years now. I'd been in menopause since age 45 (put there suddenly and early by chemotherapy), also severely hypothyroid (medicated for it), and lost weight using MFP at age 59-60. I've been hanging around since to keep my head in the game and stay in a healthy weight range. (So far, so good.)

    @Pommieaussie Maddy, welcome to the group! My main tip is to stick with the process and learn what works for you by gradually adapting your approach based on experience!
    Several of us also participate in a monthly accountability challenge (more of a support group, really), which has been extremely helpful to me (lots and lots of tips there). Check it out if you like, even if it's just to read. Please also feel free to chime in anywhere in this group.
