Good morning!
Frankie is letting me sleep just a little later. We'll continue to work on that with her.
My mom's cousin passed away last week and the visitation is this evening. I think that I will go to that rather than the funeral tomorrow.
The pizza turned out awesome. I will for sure be doing more experimentation with that. The idea sprang from the fact that we can no long find restaurant pizza for under $20. We even have enough left over for dinner again tonight.
Dave, I hope that you and Rita have an awesome trip.
It seems odd not having to go to work today.

MFP asked me 3 times this morning if I'm okay with cookies. I thought the information superhighway was supposed to speed things up.
Got out for a good hike yesterday through the state park next town over. Mtn. laurel starting to bloom. Weather had become cool and dry, and continues this morning, great walking weather.
DGS on Cape Cod plays violin in school band concert tomorrow. I'll either drive there and back (2 1/2 hours each way) or go today and stay over, maybe in other DD's summer cottage she recently bought, if not rented out. Next week another GK graduates from middle school. All good, but camping a few weeks in the wilderness once the whirlwind of family events dies down is looking better and better.
Dave, have fun in Vegas. Break the bank.
I think I need to eat more protein. Helps curb my grazing and munching.

I'll take Sassy to the Sylvan Pet Lodge this morning. I feel guilty already. We leave for the airport after lunch and get to Vegas this evening. Should be a fun week.0 -

Can't wait to pick up my girls from the kennel this afternoon. Got back 10 PM last night, feeling a bit of jet lag this morning. Needing more than the usual amount of caffeine.
Our mountain laurel is done. Time to start cutting the grass we left unmowed in May.
I think I did well over the holiday in Spain with being mindful and tracking. We'll see what the scale says tomorrow morning.

Wish M would eat pizza, but she is totally disinterested with pizza anymore. Best thing about home made pizza is you can make it exactly how you like it. $20 for a pizza would not be bad for two people if you leave out the whole tipping thing. In Europe, tipping is not a thing.

Pablo has been out and we walked more this morning than any day in last month. Left shoulder seems to be getting worse.
Very humid here this morning should stay in 80's.

Steve, enjoy retirement and do not get in a hurry for anything. There's no reason you can't drive across the country taking weeks at a time.
Can't handle camping in woods, too many insects want my blood and repellent makes skin so oily I can't stand myself.

Today is all about getting ready to leave tomorrow morning for our anniversary trip for a few days on the Central Coast. I need to run over to the lab, and then work on things around the house. I will be firing up my Weber this evening to do a tri-tip which was on sale.0 -

Bill, I am glad your urologist agrees with discontinuing more hormone therapy. I begged off of that for myself too. Hope your gut settles down soon!!! Hoping your GI issues are just delayed from radiation and will ease up sooner than later.

We had a nice Church "Picnic" after church yesterday. I had some nice greens salad and a couple small pieces of grilled chicken along with a bit of broccoli sald and some small amount of casserole. Overall "not bad".
