Fell asleep in my recliner and missed the NBA game I was going to watch.

Piano hammer spring replacement went awry and took all day, after one thing after another went wrong. Great learning experience, so next time might go more smoothly? In the end it all came out okay and the piano action mechanism is back in one piece and working.

Lee, your fireplace grilling sounds like a wild adventure. Congrats on maintaining weight while on vacation. Don't blame you for not wanting to retire. It's good to keep busy doing what you love.

    Steve, keep enjoying your kayak.

We had T-storms yesterday and now a little cooler and dryer.

Need another cup of coffee before I get started.... have a good day everyone.

    Good morning!

Weather is keeping me out of my kayak, but I should be able to get it back out tomorrow. Storms are too close today to risk. Yesterday was nasty humid. My goal would be to get out at crack o' dawn as Sam would say.

Today might be more about getting little things done around the house. Perhaps doing some gardening.

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning,
Due to heat and humidity took Pablo out for morning walk and was back by 7.
DW fixed fresh blueberry pancakes for breakfast with bacon.
I need to do some gardening, but with heat and humidity, it drains me and orthopedic told DW to keep me out of garden and her not driving I can't get out and do anything while she is gone.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Made it home around 12:30 and into bed around 1 this morning, but I am up at 6. Can't sleep much after the sun comes up. Miss having Sassy at my elbow. I'll go pick her up at 10.

We left 105 in Las Vegas. It will be a high of 61, with thunderstorms, today in Tumwater. Quite a shift.

The trip left us down more than we have been before, but still well within budget. I shake my head at the people making repeated tripos to the ATM at the casinos. I haven't stepped on a scale to see what the damage is there. Shouldn't be too bad; my belt it tightened to the same hole.

    Good Morning

Mike, congratulations on battling through rebuilding the piano action to success.

I wonder how much energy is released in a Dave & Sassy reunion?

We took it slow yesterday. We were both very tired after our trip and quite stiff and sore. I rested and iced and took a couple unplanned naps before getting going in the afternoon. I am feeling much better today and will resume activity. I am just going to do some chores around the house and get in a walk, etc.
