    🏋🏻‍♀️Happy Friday, UAC Friends!🧘🏼‍♀️

    Today is our monthly PSA to get moving! Getting enough exercise and activity are some of the most effective ways to feel better and live longer. Exercise alone is not enough (our traditional title for this day), but together with adequate nutrition, calories, rest, and stress management, it goes a long way. This will look different for everyone—examples from UAC members range from gentle stretching and walking to training for and competing in sport events.

    Questions to consider for today's discussion:
    What are your go-to ways to stay active and exercise?
    Do you have any specific exercise/activity goals for this month?
    How do you stay motivated to exercise in the long run?

    Questions to consider for today's discussion:
    What are your go-to ways to stay active and exercise? Walking and my weekly strength exercise class. I prefer outdoor walking but sometimes I walk on the treadmill. Sometimes its recumbent bike while watching Netflix.
    Do you have any specific exercise/activity goals for this month? No, just to be active every day
    How do you stay motivated to exercise in the long run? Being booked into a class means I have to do the strength exercises and the need to keep moving as I age is enough for me. My goal is to stay healthy, keep my BP at a normal level, keep my sugar levels normal and at the moment I'm not on any medication and would like to keep it that way.
