Good morning gentlemen.
Hope you are all resting well, this morning.
I cut and rough turned a very heavy, very wet piece of walnut, yesterday. It's tiring working with that stuff, but, man, will it be beautiful when it dries, and I finish it.
We actually got a few light showers, yesterday, with a few more possible today. In a week it will be 90 and we will miss this cool weather.0 -
Good morning!
I am always fascinated with wood turning. I have never tried it, but I am always surprised at what comes out of the lathe when I watch wood being turned.
Connie and I are going to explore an antique store today about 30 miles from here. We want to take a peek at the Missouri River. It is expected to start rising due to all the rain in Iowa and Minnesota.
We could get more rain here tomorrow.
I worked outside a lot yesterday. I think that I overdid it. No pain to gain.
Have a great day!0 -
Good Morning
I imagine the system up north that brought Dave some rain is what has brought in some cloud cover and cooled us off. We rarely see any rain until October or so. Washing Machine delivery took some discussion. One of the shut off valves died when I tried to turn it off and they were reluctant to try to install it till I got the valves replaced. But I was rather determined and he agreed to try the plan I laid out and made a few changes and made it work. I am waiting to hear back from the Handyman we use around here if you can track him down. Since I had kitchen table and chairs moved I decided to clean the floor, the baseboard and give the chairs a good wipe down. It felt good to get something more substantial done. I then rested my back the rest of the day, though I was careful to avoid and twisting or prolonged bending. But I do seem to be making more progress in the back now. I think I will spatchcock and grill some chicken tonight. There is work to do out back too, but the weeding is done.0 -

We got a total of 5 drops of rain count em 5 drops yesterday from the cloudy skies. Today will be nice.
Hoping the forklift job works out for Collin, Steve.
We usually get some rain up to about the 4th of July in PDX. mid july to mid august is very dry for us.
Stay comfy ad as free from pain as possible all!0
