Hot and muggy and thundering. No AC, so got a fan on me at all times.
Off to the clinic.
Had a focaccia roll with my dinner last night. Planned and accounted for on the tracker. Felt uncomfortably full afterwards. My gut seems to be not too happy with unadulterated straight up carbs after months of almost no bread or pasta.
Onward and Downward ;-)0 -
Warm foggy morning here… heading to RI this morning to visit DS and go paddling with him and 5 year old William on the lake near their house. Been promising this for 2 years. Hopefully the weather will hold off. T-storms here but only cloudy there. We’ll see.
Onward and downward. ; )

Good morning!
Finally! Some really beautiful weather! I got my bike out for the first time in months. That will be a more regular practice now. Yesterday, I was whining about eating junk and my weight being up. I behaved yesterday and also drank a lot of water. I was rewarded this morning with 169.7. This is the first time under 170 in at least 20 years. Woot!
For sure, the yard will get mowed today. The ground was still too soggy yesterday. I was able to get some yard work done yesterday which felt good.
More illegal fireworks last night. Frankie and I are real tired of this. I hope to hear none today.
Have a great day!0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Good job, Steve. Those milestones are important. Now keep working for 160, right?
We're going to continue to be hot - 94 today. I 'll mow this morning and chill in the afternoon. We do have AC.

Good Morning,
Cut yard yesterday
Pablo has had his walk, he got DW up at 2 this morning to go out; he did not do his business last night because it was raining,
Even though it rained it just raised the humidity, but highs should only be mid 90's reckon we are better off.
No plans for today other than staying in conditioned air.
I continue losing the same 5 pounds but I am back walking 3-5 miles a day.0 -
Good Morning
Congratulations Steve!
The return to tracking was an eye opener. My food selections have largely been things I know won’t aggravate my gut. So after yesterday I am now reminded of the value of pretracking etc and adjusting. For now just doing that and focus on keeping my gut calm. We will mostly stay inside today. Yesterday’s outing to one of the local Asian Markets was enough to convince us to stay put. Unless Heather has other ideas I will make some progress on bills and filing. If I go out I may swing by the mall for a walk. Rumor has it we will return to the 90s tomorrow.0 -
Congrats Steve!0
