Humid this morning and going to upper 80s here today.

Congrats Steve on breaking into the 160s. Maybe Frankie won't recognize you anymore, and he'll wake somebody else up at 4AM.

Sam, I'm amazed to hear you're walking that far every day, after the wonky knee business you went through for so long. That's great news.

Great day paddling with DS and 4 year old DGS. Wheeled my canoe the 1/4 mile from their yard through a field to the lake. Their house abuts a conservation area with fields and forest. Saw swans, a heron, lots of duck families. Followed the shore to the other side and had lunch where the woods were partly leveled by a tornado or microburst a few weeks ago. It also blew down trees of the neighbor behind DS's house and across the street but fortunately only clipped a top branch from a big silver maple by his driveway. Flying chips made two holes in window screens on the 2nd floor, that's it--no other damage.

    Have a good Sunday...

    Good morning gentlemen.

Another hot one on tap, today. Church, this morning then some errands with DW. Too hot to take Sassy for a walk in the afternoon.

Glad to live where there are almost no tornadoes, hurricanes, blizzards or other violent weather. All we face are volcanic eruptions or massive earthquakes, but our odds are pretty good on those.

    Have a great Sunday.

    Good Morning

We are told our temps should drop back into the upper 90’s today. The last two days the temps have danced with 110 setting records and kept us inside most of the day except for a quick run to the store. We watched a lot of Wimbledon and stayed cool. Today I will resist the temptation to keep it on and get to work on things here. We don’t get much nasty weather here either beyond this heat which has developed over the last decade or so. The worst we might get is a few to many days of rain in a row. But any storm with an inch or so of rain is big storm for us. An occasional small earthquake which I rarely notice is about it. We used to have pretty perfect weather. Not too hot, not too cold.
