    Mornin' BBB

    (((Mother Tucker)))
Finally cooled off overnight. Tired of sweating while I sleep. I swear the house absorbs and holds more heat since we had solar panels installed. No way to prove it, of course. But I am thinking we need to seriously think about a couple of AC units for the upstairs. Ironic that we may have to use more energy to offset the build up of heat that the panels have created.

    Good morning.

Lee, that comment makes me think of all electric cars 🤔.

Raining here. Hopefully, that will cool
Things off and not heat it up!!

Hurt my foot Sunday and I have poison ivy. Ugh. Spending a lot of time in the pool to dry it up but still using calamine lotion and yes, it’s spreading.

    Good morning

Hot here too again yesterday brewing storms overnight.

I'm staying away from the big city with all the RNC crowds in town. I hate crowds these days more and more. Uugghh

Busy Monday, got all caught up with work tasks, then to Aldi grocery shopping. Feel I'm getting quality produce, and some dairy and fresh meat there too for good prices. Still have go elsewhere for some household things though....

Today is my dgs first birthday! I'm going to see him this morning, bring him some balloons, a blueberry homemade muffin, a little pooh bear and a family zoo pass membership. His party is Sat. Uncle, ds1, is flying in for the weekend festivities, yay!

I need air conditioning and a fan on at night to sleep. I run hot.

Interesting and time consuming looking at the stuff left in our childhood homes. But time consuming if getting too caught up. Good luck Dave.

Well chop chop I best get going to work. So I can take some time out to see my dgs!

    Have a good day BBB!

    Good morning.

The mosquitoes are out early this morning and making coffee on the balcony time unpleasant.

Happy birthday, DGS! I too would like a zoo pass, but what they call a zoo here is really an exotic pet rescue and really quite sad.

I'm no fan of convention crowds either. I worked in downtown Chicago in 1996 and it made getting around during the day hard. Al. Gore's hotel was just across the bridge and they kept shutting things down to auto and pedestrian traffic for motorcades. 28 years later and I still have a chip on my shoulder about spending 20 minutes of my unch hour stuck on a sidewalk not allowed to go anywhere.

    Good morning BBB friends.

Those first birthdays are pretty special. Hope all in attendance have great fun.

I haven't gotten in to poison oak or ivy in decades but suffered a lot in my youth and well remember the misery. My sympathies Kelly.

Hot day, today. We're leaving the AC to have a picnic supper in a nearby park, with a lake. I expect crowds of people attempting to cool off. I'd postpone, but DS and family have every minute of their summer scheduled out, it seems. This was one of the few openings left to spend with them. They say they like to be spontaneous. Ha! They're the least spontaneous people I know.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • I stayed up late last night watching the RNC. I didn't make it up for my Emmaus group this morning. A month or so back they moved to an earlier time and a further away location. It's not sitting well with this guy who hates to set the alarm.
    • Happy Birthday to your DGS Mary. What's his name? Nice that DS1 can make it back for the festivities.
    • It is Prime Day and I have been shopping. We have a few long flights coming up and DW is envious of my noise cancelling headphones. She's getting a pair of her own.
    • Sorry about the poison ivy Kelly. I might break out just reading about it.
    • We are getting close to the great car reveal.

    Good Morning,
Took Pablo out at 6:30 due to heat, 2.5 miles
Breakfast, then to care for neighbor's cat; electricity went off yesterday and I did not think about neighbors' alarm; sure, it got to cat only eaten about 1/2 what she had been eating and hiding this morning.
Have to take DW to PT, while she is doing PT will go check on DMIL, understand she tried to call DSIL about 12 this morning. Also need to pick up drugs for DW.
I looked at Amazon and Amazon Prime, have not had before so will pass again this year. DD does not believe she could function without Amazon.
Massages around here run about a dollar a minute: $60 for hour or $30 for half
With heat and humidity, I do not agree to any outdoor activities.
Lee, with Mary out of country now would be a good time to add air to house.
Tomorrow preop appointment for shoulder they promised to have me out by 8 a.m. then all day class
with Dept of Revenue concerning property tax, what fun.

    Morning gang.

HBD to DGS. How has it been a year.

Massages are $35/hr or $55/90 minutes. Not cheap cheap but fits in our budget. I get 1 a month or so, i could do more but that seems to aork for me. Ron gets 2 a week. His PT/massage was $60 for however long it took. Usually 75 minutes or so. When we are in the states I aim for $1/minute but it's usually a little more for the deep tissue or sports massage that he prefers.

It rained early this morning so it's still overcast. I'm headed down to the beach to. Collect shells for a craft I have planned for Saturday.

Steph. That’s a helluva deal for a massage.

It will be great to have both you boys in the house Mary.

Ds1 works downtown Milwaukee and the traffic and crowds have got to be crazy.

Same here in NOVA - about $75 for hour; $110 for 90 mins. I was combining PT appts with deep tissue for lumbar - but between copays and massage - was getting to be EXPENSIVE!

My lineage dates back, to very deep roots.
I chase adventure on paths without any routes.
Seven slots on my face, a tale to unfold,
What am I, this legend in stories retold?

    Hopefully FRIDAY! We'll see!

    I think Dennis wins!
