    GM~
    • Me DF arrived; cranky and crotchety. Stuck in front of RNC and he fell asleep by 9p.
    • DW enjoying weekend away with DN! Should be a great beach day for them.
    • Not sure what the day's plans are beyond work.
    • The Maverick is nearly completed and should be here Monday!
    • Hope everyone has a great weekend. (Sans the doc, who's busy swiffering)!

Eager eyes on the horizon gleam,
For a shiny ride straight out of a dream.
Four wheels of power, sleek and new,
Impatience grows, as the longing grew.

What am I, this restless need,
A ute to fulfill the need for speed?

    Mornin' BBB

The Ford Maverick just doesn't seem to be your style, Skip. I guess you can soup it up a little to meet your needs. Ha!
RNC, or DNC for that matter, by definition is sleepy time for me. I would rather read the good bits, if there are any, in the morning.
Drastic decrease in heat and humidity overnight, thank goodness.
DGS tomorrow evening. He'll get to meet my girls. House will not be up to M's standards, I am not even going to try, but hopefully she'll be too exhausted to care until the next day.

    Good morning BBB friends.

Taking too long over my first cup of coffee and now need to rush to get out the door. Heading for a tough hike in the Olympic Mountains. Have to wave and run.

    Good Morning,
You just do not know how much fun you missed Dennis, almost as much fun as a colonoscopy.
If it is a Maverick doubt Skip would keep two months and they do not have 470 HP.
Pablo has been out and had a walk, Birdie fed, and litter box cleaned,
Need to carry trash off and buy groceries, by then grass should be dry enough to cut.
Finally got a little rain, chance for some more this evening.
    Mary enjoy DS's and party,
Lee, know you will be glad to have Mary home even with honey doo list; how long will DGS and DDIL be staying with you? Know girls are going to love DGS,
    Safe hiking Dave.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • I stayed up way to late watching the RNC last night but had the luxury of sleeping in this morning.
    • Yep, it's cooling off here and the rain is coming.
    • Enjoy your family time. I am heading to the west coast to see mine in a couple of weeks.

    Morning gang.

Mary so glad your DS is home.

Ladie is going to live the doggies,

Cooking class last night was fun. Nice mix of Americans and Mexican nationals.

Today is massage and Spanish class. Plus we are behind on the tour de france so I'm off of socials until we get caught up so i don't see a result.

    Good afternoon
Gorgeous weather here. So cool last night that we put a fire in the solo stove.

How do you like the Solo, Kelly? My sons got us one but we haven't used it yet. They were thinking the smokeless solo would be ok for me, with my Graves and TED. Is it truly smokeless?

The Silverado is together and in operation. At it's slowest, this Gma thinks its too fast right now for him at 1yr? 😯Uncle says he's fine, its got seatbelts. Ummm... momma bear will decide.

Its pretty sweet. We got a "Lil T" Wisconsin license plate for it and some balloons to tie on it. Sweet Ride! And I'm not a Chevy chick. Never owned a Chevy lol. I'll get some pictures at tomorrow's party!

Have a good Friday night BBB

Mary - we had a solo in our last home and it was awesome! No more feeling like a smokey mess when you are done....my only (not complaint) observation was it burns REALLY hot and REALLY fast! We would usually go through an entire carry bag of 7-11 wood in less than 2 hours. You'll love it!

I have a Solo and really like it. There's less smoke, but its not smoke free.

    Hey folks.

I meant to check in earlier and saw a text message while posting here telling me that the Crowdstrike thing hit us pretty hard, so I had to start getting a battle plan together. Then, of course, we had people stranded in Milwaukee so there was hand patting to be done.

Then.. As if that weren't enough, I found out this morning of an 80 person event being held in our building on Monday. Our events people didn't even know about it - and they were stuck in Milwaukee anyway! So we ordered food, grabbed all the interns and set up multiple breakout rooms and the luncheon space.

So I was an IT guy, an event planner and an accountant today.

    I'm tired.
