Werk is kinda werky, it is a short week for me. I am taking tomorrow off to meet my financial manager from Ft Worth. We are meeting him and his DW in Concord MA for lunch. He is visiting family and we have never met him. He kind of inherited us after our former manager, a friend of me dad, retired. He and his assistant has done us a very good job.

Crotchety DF. Wants to complain about everything. He doesn't like the new car and spent an hour trying to tell me I made a mistake. I replied with "I don't keep mistakes long anyway!" He refused to drive it and wouldn't join me in Happy Hour with friends. He sat in the basement with Fox News blaring loud enough for the next block to hear.

Rita had a fun B-day party last night. Today is her actual birthday, so I am driving her up to the Seattle area for the day. A true testament to my love: I hate driving in Seattle. We'll leave Sassy in the backyard while we're gone. It will be interesting to see what she chews or digs up.0 -

Good Morning,
No house is large enough for two generations or two families, though DMIL is at personal care home she still calls, fusses and make demands. I believe 4 calls yesterday with additional calls to DD and DSIL telling them we were not responding fast enough. She has a habit of taking laxative then diarrhea meds and will not allow either to complete job. So, with her it is always an emergency, and the drama she can portray. Oh, and she uses disposable undies because she is too lazy to get up and walk to bathroom. calls herself taking a country girl bath and does not understand why folks tells her she stinks.
A good financial manager is hard to find as well as finding a trustworthy manager.
Dave sounds as you enjoy Seattle as much as I enjoy Atlanta, thankfully DW does not like Atlanta either.
DW is driving self today, it has been several months for me doing all driving including carrying DMIL to her appointments. She says I was getting ill, no I'm tired.0 -

Dinner out last night was fun. Our guest has an interesting life.
We have decided there are two kinds of people who retire to mexico. Those who just have social security and cannot afford to live in the US and those who have an abundance and this is one of many homes. We are definitely the outliers.
