    Best. Brisket. Ever. Lots of angst on my part due to battling the remnants of Debbie and ye old pellet smoker needs electricity, but never lost power. Lost a fair of amount of sleep though.
    M doesn't mind Grandma right now. She is just so mesmerized by her first grandchild, as am I.

    High of only 71 in today's forecast and nothing but 70s as far out as I see. Lots of clouds. A bit early, but I think summer is already drawing to a close up here.

    I had brisket for lunch yesterday and ended up not being hungry the rest of the day. I think I may have just invented a new weight loss program..

    Looks like a good BD celebration

    We were without AC again yesterday. Thankfully Mexicans work 6 days a week (thankfully for me, not them) so it was back up and running by 2pm. Our plan if they didn't get it working was to head to Phoenix for supplies for the winter. There are just a few favorites we can't find in Mexico. Plus we both need new tennis shoes and selection in my size is scarce. But we haven't had our mail sent yet so it wasn't great timing.

    This is twice in 2 weeks it's been out. Glad we are leaving soon...I'm guessing a new unit is in their future. But knowing Mexico they will try to fix it a zillion more times.

    Today we are taking a plane ride around the area. The lady that is the copilot is in our Spanish class and got us a deal. Should be super neat.

    • I would say Laddy had fun. I wish I had some of that most excellent brisket.

    Gorgeous cool days in Indiana. Yesterday only hit 80. Today high 70’s. Pool is covered.

    Glad the birthday was a success.

    Headed to Wisconsin Thursday.

    I smoked wings tonight Lee. 10/10. Awesome. Ate too much.

    Spectacular. An under used word. Let’s all make it a spectacular week!!!! Ha.
