Do the stores where you guys are have Halloween stuff out??? The stores around here have had stuff out since right after 4th of July!! We went into a Lowes over the weekend and there was a huge display of yard decorations. Wondering if they will at least wait until after Labor Day to put out Christmas stuff...

Okay, rant over... Have a great week guys! And Happy Stepping!

Yup, same here. Shortly after the 4th of July the Halloween stuff started hitting the shelves and last week Spirit Halloween opened up for business.

Next week is my week in New Jersey. Hopefully I'll be able to maintain my 10,000+ steps a day. It would suck to lose my streak now. There is a walking trail that goes by the hotel and it goes on for miles, but I'm stuck in meetings from 8:00am - 4:30pm and then will probably be "forced" to go to dinner with the rest of the crew to discuss how the day went and then just chat. Unfortunately my boss is very much a chatty Cathy and feels the need to get us all together for every freakin' meal so we can "spend face-to-face time together". This annoys the crap out of me because I am not a people person.

Same around here on Halloween. It is one of my daughters favorite holidays and the one I despise the most. I didn't even like it that much when I was a kid.

Meetings about meetings are the worse. I use to say that I didn't hate people, I just didn't like them. Then I learned that am an introvert and I fully embraced it.

    HAHAHA!!!!

We are totally all in the same boat!! I don't travel often for work, but when I do it's usually by myself. My counterparts in our 2nd facility are big on going to dinner when I'm there and all I want to do is sit, have a glass of wine and recap all the activities of the day on my own!

I am one of 3 managers in a place of about 400 people. There are days I tell the owner my job would be great if it wasn't for the people! Haha!!

@peoriapole & @renae149 , too funny that we are all a bunch of introverts! I love our tiny little crew!

@LordWulfram stated it early on, for a small group we have a lot of similarities.

This is probably why we have all stuck with this! Definitely hasn't hurt for me!

I've been trying to hit it extra hard since I am in New Jersey next week. That is the week I'm really concerned about. Yesterday I didn't do nearly as well because my AC unit failed and my house was boiling at 92F inside. It was an unfun day trying to deal with that and I can't get anyone out here to look at it until next week and I won't be here next week. I had to buy a portable AC unit so my cats don't bake while I am away.

Holy cow!!! Not fun at all!! My son does HVAC…if we only lived less than half a country away!!🤣🤣

Some how I thought this week was when you were gone.

I got SO many steps in at the airports today. Once I got to my hotel, I went straight out to the walking trail for nearly 5 miles because I had a hour and a half before I had to meet up with my colleagues (10 minutes from now). I'm already at nearly 18,000 steps and I only have 43,582 to hit my 4 million! I'm going to clear this in Jersey this week! :)
