    Mornin' BBB

    Cool night. Had to shut the windows and get under the covers to sleep comfortably. Summer is ending in NW CT.
    I truly hope yer dad is just trying to plan way ahead, Skip. You are a gifted and accomplished writer and you two have a really good relationship, in spite of the constant head butting.
    Not much planned today.
    Missing Babe (she is with BTG until upcoming trial). Lucy is a very good girl and I am trying to give her as much attention as possible.

    Off to be churched and schooled,
    DW going to urgent care, I believe something bit her above eye, slightly swollen last night now eye swollen shut and face swollen over to ear.

    Yikes, Sam, hope they can tone down your DW's symptoms.

    I bet Lucy misses Babe, too.

    I wrote my dad's obit when he died 13 years ago but left it to my sister to do my mom's this year, though I did edit it down - a lot. With the decline of local newspapers hardly anyone reads them anymore, anyway.

    I'm the lay reader at church this morning, so I have to get going and shave, I guess.

    Ate my first burger in years last night. We have both been craving one.

    Now off to get cash and some supplies at Walmart before it gets too busy.

    But the reason we came to the US was for our new debit card and my driver's license whi h both arrived at the ups store yesterday

    • I just returned from being churched and schooled.
    • Our new LED panels went blank at 10 minutes til. Got them fixed at 2 minutes til. Geesh.
    • Yep, I bet Lucy and the whole family is missing Babe. It's tough when the kids go away to school.

    Good morning.

    Cecilia is still sleeping after spending a good chunk of the night coughing. I've gone out and taken a walk but done little else. I'm generally feeling okay. The hot throat is gone, so I just need to not be an idiot today. Easier than it sounds, I know.
