It was cool enough over night that the furnace turned on. August feels like September. What's September going to be like?
Church this morning then I need to do some yardwork this afternoon. The grass has taken on jungle attributes after several days of rain.0 -

Chilly indeed but will be warmer than Tumwater/Olympia so let the house cool a bit.

Good afternoon and where is everybody?
Got my gear all dried out and packed away, now I'm catching up on 2 weeks of laundry. Haven't done any since first camping trip to Maine, only had two days between and spent that shopping and other stuff. Waterproofing my jacket and rain pants and backpack also today.
Church this evening. Paddling somewhere with a friend tomorrow. The state has issued an alert for eastern equine encephalitis in some neighboring towns 1/2 hour south of me, spread by mosquitoes and 30% fatal in humans. Will head north for outdoor stuff. And spray my clothes with permethrin.0 -

DW staying other side of Atlanta keeping youngest DGS.
I have a busy week skin doctor tomorrow, PT Tuesday and Friday, Thursday Emmaus breakfast then 3 Board of Equalization hearings. DW should be back Thursday.
I'm trying to keep garden picked, someone else will keep grass cut for me.
Neighbors have been doing a good job of walking Pablo every morning and afternoon.
Mike, you have too many clothes if you go over 2 weeks without washing.
We have had some cool mornings with highs in upper 80's but the heat is coming back upper 90's later in week.0
