    GM~

Back in saddle this morning. Got home at 12p yesterday and straight to a 3 hour HOA Treasurers meeting
212 emails waiting for me. SEL/ALT/DEL (if it's important, they'll try again to resend me a reminder)!
<<TUCKER>> has not left my sight since getting home. All is well in his world again.
    LOVE the reunion photo, Dennis!
    Have fun in ARL, Lou!

    Cheers

    Mornin' BBB

I'm sure you have mentioned, but I have napped since then, does someone house sit Tucker or does he go to boarding kennel?
Lou, are you looking for a condo in Arlington?
I have got to do some fishing this weekend.

    Good morning

It's 80F here already. They say another extreme heat advisory day. Storms possible later.

    Nice photo Dennis!

When's move in day onto your next home in Mexico, Steph? Do you think you'll ever come back to the states to live?

Hope you all have a great day!

    Good morning.

Cecilia would love to live in DC, Lee, but I'm just here helping out another non-profit on a temp assignment. She's romanticized it a bit as a tourist. I think living here would probably sour her a bit on things.

We went to Georgetown Seafood last night and ate all the fried things. Feeling a bit sluggish this morning as a result.

A friend said she ordered a snake for her toilet, so I had FB whip this up.

    Doc~

<<Tucker>> has my DN(iece) come stay at house. She works from home and it keeps him on his routine (for most part) to include T/Th/Sat half days at daycare. It puts extra money in her pocket and keeps him "happy." Not sure he'd like boarding - but then again, we've never tried.

DC is nice to visit. TRUST ME, you wouldn't want to live downtown. 1. Expensive AF! 2. Congestion. 3. Mismanaged beyond belief. 4. Festivals/Protests & Constant Disruptions. Did I mention Congestion? 5. METRO is just terrible (and now as expensive as an uber in some cases). Oh yeah, Congestion.

    Good morning BBB friends.

My last visit to the nation's capital city was 24 years ago, but I concur. I wouldn't want to live there.

The CRV is back in our garage. The shop did a good job, finished a week early, and gave me a ride both ways. Refreshingly different.

Like the photo of you with your old USAF buddies, Dennis. Wish I still had a connection with friends from my early Army days. I am Facebook friends with several of my subordinates from later in my career. Flattering that they wanted to stay in touch with their old sergeant major.

    SGM~

Great point that I'd love to piggy back on......

Some of the most incredible mentors I've had throughout my career were senior enlisted personnel (and a few officers, one of whom later became the CSAF - General Ronald Fogleman). I always make sure to let them know that their influence was life-changing. I hope that you take immense pride in the fact that your soldiers also acknowledge the impact you've had on each of them individually and collectively.

I remember when I was a two striper in Korea. My mom had been admitted to the hospital in DFW area. I flew home on Emergency Leave. The Senior Enlisted Advisor walked my EL paperwork through himself and had me outbound in less than 6 hours. Prior to leaving for the tarmac, he pulled out his wallet and gave me $50. I said no, but he insisted and reminded me to pay it forward someday. I'll never forget him, that act of humanity, and kind gesture! He knew that a two-striper was already cash-strapped and didn't balk at making sure I had some cash for the trek home.

It is these types of memories that make me proud to have served!

    Good Morning,
    Had PT this morning,
DW will not be back till late Wednesday night or Thursday.
I would have a hard time living in any large city, it was bad enough just working in Atlanta.
I have one neighbor that walks Pablo in morning and another that walks him in afternoon; he has gotten where he lays down staring at front door about 15 minutes before they usually come.
    Lou, I like plumbers snake!
    Temps are rising

Great photo Dennis and great memory Skip.

We move in 2 weeks. We don't have plans to live in the US again for decades if ever bit do plan to road trip there next spring. We had planned to do the same this fall but the election cycle is just something I don't was to witness. It's much easier to not see all the negative ads out of the country. We still see some (mostly watching the Olympics on peacock)

Our hike yesterday was fun but this fat old lady struggled with some of the rock scrambling. Our last 'real" hike was almost a year ago. Ron got sick on Sept 5. He is doing amazingly better but still not 100%

We live about 5 miles behind me in this picture. We could walk clear there but with the temperatures at 95 by 9am and humidity above 75 all of the time we likely won't before we leave. It would be 4 miles of sandy Beach walking first then this rocky trail. The friend we went with doesn't thing you can circle this ,mountain but I think you can. Wish it was cooler so we could try to find the route.

Wow Steph I would not walk that with that heat and humidity.

I hear DC has bad congestion.
Speaking of DC #1 is asking his gf to marry him in one week from today when they visit. He’s asking her at the Lincoln memorial.
And so, I’ll have to go thru all this crap again no thank you. Ugh.

Did I mention that it’s hot as I don’t know what here on Indiana. Pool is too hot to swim.

Good evening BBB friends. Made it home safely this evening. Great trip with a lot of reminiscing. 70 year olds remembering when they were 20. The museum is a must see for any aviation buff. I've experienced DC congestion. Great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.
