Team Monthly Challenges (Goals) for September 2024

Congratulations Team for the Fantastic Job in completing your Team Monthly Goals for August. Well Done.

Hope you will join me for this next New Month of September! Let’s Finish Strong Together.

For the Month of September we will be Focusing on Good Nutrition that plays a role in having better function in every area of our lives.

With many of us having limitations on certain Foods due to autoimmune diseases, allergies and sensitivities we will look at eating healthy and choosing the best food we can find on the Market that is available so we can incorporate them into our daily intake.

Mayo Clinic says that Eating reasonable amounts of a variety of nutritious foods and getting Physical Activity every day can go a long way toward staying healthy as we age.

Gluten-Free Recipes & Holistic Lifestyle Tips

Bea is a French woman who has been living with an autoimmune disease since the age of 8 (only to be diagnosed at 25). 

Bea shares the recipes via the Link above. All the recipes are gluten-free - however, many are also dairy free, egg free, paleo, whole 30, low FODMAPs or AIP (Auto-Immune Protocol).

Living with autoimmune diseases is not easy. As Bea shares her own story and the recipes she developed due to the many sensitivities which have helped her in return she hopes many more will be helped. And that is You my Friend’s.

As we move forward through the Fall and Winter months we can look at other Food Sensitivities. Please share your specific food sensitivities so I can research the web and hopefully bring back some info that will help.

Hope the Gluten free article and Recipes you will find there will help you on your journey to better health even when you need to eliminate foods like eggs, dairy, wheat, gluten, seeds and nuts.

Along with being Focused on Good Nutrition we will continue on with our Daily focus on Cardio and Strength Training.

Team Goal # 1 Nutrition

- aim to drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water per day
- Track your calories per day
- Eat at least 5 to 8 servings of fresh fruits and veggies per day
- Eat at least 25 grams of Fibre per day
- Aim to try at least 1 or more Recipes either Gluten or Egg or Dairy free from Bea’s Blog & Recipes.

Team Goal # 2 Fitness

- Set a goal in how much weight you want to lose
- Focus on Cardio at least 5 days a week at least 30 minutes or more per day
- Aim to Strength Train 3 days a week at least 25 minutes or more per session

    Welcome September! Let’s make this Month a Great Month, one day and one step at a time!

    I am back for another month and will work on my Cardio, Strength and Stretching Exercises. I will also aim to eat healthier and try some of Bea’s Recipes, looking at the Food that will help restore my Immune System back to a Healthier Me.

    Thank you for Bea's website, Judith. I see a couple of recipes I might try there. I am low FODMAPS, gluten free, lactose free, can't have mushrooms or their relatives, am sensitive to peanuts....so I eat within my boundaries every day or pay the consequences with pain and other issues - digestive upsets, fatigue, headaches, bloating. Even my Asthma is triggered by some foods. So finding tasty variety within my restrictions is very good!
