Deli trays have been ordered for the meal after the unveiling next week. I've got my plan set to take the car to Carmax the day after. So that was my morning.
Not sure what we'll do today. She's curious to see the Natural History Museum here in Austin, but after the Smithsonian one, I don't think an armadillo carcass will be that exciting.0 -
Morning gang.
Heading to the gym in a minute for a cardio session. It's a holiday weekend (read busy at the condo)so likely the Pelton bike will be in use so I'll just walk on the treadmill if so. I'm ready for exercise to be outdoors again.
Today we are going to the pottery place to glaze our pots then it's $1 tacos at a bar we frequent. There is a band there at 5so maybe we'll hang out for a bit.

Afternoon BBB
Yup, had fantasy football draft last night. Pretty good draft for drafting 9th out of 10. Games start Thursday.
Dinner with M and DSIL at an Inn halfway between our homes. She lives in upstate NY. She likes my bbq, but M wanted an easy dinner out.
Congrats on the People's Choice for the vette, Skip. I imagine that is like getting the gunner's award but no placement at a field trial.

Had a fun day boating, fishing grilling, painting rocks, playing uno.
My ddils parents came for the day. 2.25 hour drive for them each way. They seemed to enjoy themselves. Dgs is having a blast and so are we . Every weekend with him at the lake has been better than the last. He loves it here and being outside so much. He's so fun!
Ds2, ddil, dgs, and Maddie dog, will leave tomoorow around noon, after I babysit dgs in the a.m., make him breakfast and play, so they can go to to the shooting range tomorrow here. Then dh and I have the rest of day til Tuesday night to ourselves.
