Good morning!
I did some work outside yesterday, and I am feeling it today. I still have a ton of work to do, so I will be back at it today for at least a couple of hours. We have volunteer trees around our garden fence line, three holes to fill in from where trees were cut down, a concrete step to pour, two retaining walls to build, etc. If I take it in smaller pieces, it is not work so much as it is just enjoyable exercise. Connie commented yesterday on how much more relaxed I am these days. That's a great thing!
Other than the yard work, I should probably lay in some groceries today or tomorrow.
Have a great day!0 -
Good Morning,
Steve, I'll work about 3 hours a day and let the other go to another day
Off to PT0 -
Mac and cheese. Yum. Shells or elbows?
Thawed out some frozen lobster claws someone had given me and made a semi point friendly version of lobster rolls. Sadly it was a 5/10. Not sure if it was the frozen lobster claws or just lack of buttered white bread rolls (I used high fiber pitas), but it was not delicious.
So I am the only one punching a time card these days?
We are planning a Colorado Springs Xmas with DS#1 and his family. DW is gonna fly out and I am planning of driving with the girls so we can have a Colorado pheasant hunt.

Good morning gentlemen.
I was out of elbows, so went with medium shells.
Taking a hike with DGS Andrew today. This is the first one-on-one hike we have taken. Should be a lot of fun. We're hiking up a trail in the Cascades, then dropping back down through the ski area where he spends many of his winter weekends. The whole hike will only be about five miles, I think, but with a substantial climb and unknown terrain coming down the ski area. Andrew will be leading that. He wants to walk down his favorite runs. He is 8 and just entering third grade, but a pretty good hiker. DGD and Lola Rita have planned a day baking gingerbread cookies and learning to cook some Philippine recipes.0 -
Good Morning
Dave, I love the family traditions being passed down to the coming generations. It sounds like an amazing day on tap all around.
Another exciting day of getting things sorted and packed. 3 1/2 weeks to go.0 -
