Hello,
My name is Rosetta, I am a Type 2 diabetic. I was Dx in 2022. My initial A1c was 13 what a shock to me, as I am an RN and I never noticed the signs and symptoms. I was so focused on obtaining my Doctorate in Nursing, I forgot about my overall health. I purchased a Peloton and dropped about 38-40# pounds and my A1c decreased to 6.8 during 2022-2023. I continued to work out in 2023 to lose an additional 30#s.
My medications are 500 mg Metformin ER once per day, this is a change from 1.5 tablets of 500 mg twice a day. I also take Jardance 10 mg, 1/2 a pill in the morning. ( but not dancing around like the lady on TV).

I just transitioned to the Dexcom Stelo CGM and I love the data I can obtain. I know my glucose levels as things are changing with food and exercise and I can make accommodations for these events. I am so glad this is OTC, I have tighter control and think I will reach my goal A1c of 5.5 in 3 months.

If there are other Stelo users in this group please let me know your experiences. I am looking forward to talking to everyone.
