- Super pizzed off this morning.
- An 81 y/o neighbor was able to adopt a 3 y/o rescue. He needed leashes and collars, which we donated to him. He brough Venus over Friday night to meet Tucker.
- Yesterday RingNeighbor alerted to "stray dog on loose" in our neighborhood. All hands on deck. Sadly, "Venus" who really didn't know her new name, ventured across street to I66 and was fatally struck.
- When I asked owner the details, he said, "i let her outside to potty and she never came back!" I wanted to slap him!
- DW was distraught all night! Ugh!!

I'm sitting here drinking what is arguably called coffee by people that have obviously never had a real cup of coffee in their lives while I wait on my nephew to wake up so we can handle estate business today.
The unveiling went okay yesterday. About like you'd expect for a ceremony without real structure; you're required to say a single prayer at graveside with everything else just being fluff.
Today we visit my parents' neighbor of 52 years for a cup of microwave coffee with her before we head out to Carmax to sell Dad's car.
Then I'm off to the airport to head home this afternoon.0 -

Seahawks played as ugly a game as I could imagine, but won, so it's OK.
Some grocery shopping, in store today, and I am all out of alcohol-free brews, so I'll hit the big-box wine place, too. Maybe a little shop time.0 -

Some folks just do not think, we have had Pablo since November and still keep him on leash and/or watch him when in fence. But he does know where he lives now even though he climbed fence last week and went back in woods after some deer; he did finally come after calling him about 6 times.

We started packing yesterday. We have much more stuff than when we came. Lots of it is food we can't get in Mexico and some art. We also each have some new clothes and two extra pairs of shoes each...tennis shoes for hiking and for gym plus a nice pair that isn't sandals each. We weren't loaded to the gills before so hopefully it all fits without much trouble.
I thought we should get a bike rack for travel days which would solve all the issue since the bikes take up most of the back seat area leaving only the far back and floorboards for study. Too late now, n9 way cam we get one here.
Have a bag of food to take to the housekeeping staff of thing I can easily replace. We have one more bottle of liquor to finish off this week too. The mixer selection is getting dire so we might be having tequila mules.0 -

Gorgeous weather in Indiana. I’m going to make chili tonight. Football and chili.
Both my teams lost. Now, we’re going to Wisconsin to watch their back up QB play against the colts and surely lose on Sunday. I’d rather stay home.0
