    Good morning gentlemen.

It is certainly fall, now, around Puget Sound. Highs in the 60s.

Church, then running some errands with DW.

    Good morning!

Frankie had me up at 5:00 this morning, but I somehow missed logging in.

Today will be church, and rest until 3:30 when the Chiefs tromp the Bengals.

I have a hot tub that I purchased 3 or 4 years ago to help with my arthritis. We have kept it in the unfinished basement, but it takes up a lot of space. Friday and yesterday, I made a flat surface and moved the hot tub to be underneath our raised deck. I still have to connect it and finish it. We will now have enough room again in the basement for my weight bench and treadmill, and I'll have more space in the garage. Slow progress is being made.

I harvested a couple of small tomatoes and three, count them three, blackberries. Sigh... Our garden is now declared finished for the season. Next will be working on burning brush, creating a space for leaves to be turned into compost, and other winter prep tasks outside. It has been so dry the last few weeks that I probably am nearing the finish line with mowing, except for picking up leaves.

    Have a great day!

    Morning...

Started with thick fog, but now another sunny day here, getting to high 70s later. My hummingbird feeder has been abandoned the last week and the geese have started to fly in lines toward the south. Early signs of fall, plus a few trees here and there reddening.

Last night's book club went well, some lively discussion, but I was ambushed by a cider donut and a brownie. Ughhh.

Well, after the big wedding last weekend I thought things would calm down for awhile, but DS Shawn called yesterday and said he's proposed to his GF and asked her father for her hand. She is a very personable gal and everybody in the fam who meets her likes her, so hopefully it's a good thing.

Going over camping lists today so I can hightail it out of here before something else ambushes my plans...

Have a great Sunday everyone. Steve, get in your day of rest, buddy. Hope Connie feels better soon. Lee, how were the trials yesterday? When do you head out west? Bill, best of luck with packing and moving and with your health. Sam, healing vibes for your arm.

    Onward and downward.

    Good Morning

A big temp drop today is forecasted. Our high is forecasted at 69. A little over a week ago we were riding a string of triple digits. We took things easier yesterday but were productive. I am quite tired these days and my back is feeling it, just achy but a warning to be careful. Ice and Tylenol for now. I focused on tasks that I could do sitting as much as possible. Tonight my son and I move our dressers and end tables downstairs and then out for a bulk pickup by the city I scheduled. You get to fill a 8'x5'x3' space with some "guidelines". We will do that easily. Only tricky point will be the stairs. I may ice & tens afterward to be safe. We get new neighbors next door. So if they need help I will help them, though there seems to be a language barrier the few times I have tried to engage them in "Hi , how ya doin'" talk. They are working with us to get the moving PO delivered since it interferes with their adjacent parking space during delivery and pickup. My neighbor who is renting to them handled the negotiations for me.
