    Good morning!

Continued hot and humid here in KS until the weekend. I'm really about finished with summer heat and humidity. We are in a drought here with about a quarter to half an inch of rain in the last 30 days.

I have my annual hearing test this morning. This is the annual test where they try real hard to sell me upgraded hear aids.

Cats think that they can type, but they cannot.

Collin started a new job yesterday. He liked it. Dang I hope this one lasts more than a couple of weeks. He has not worked again for about two months. He has $1.74 in his checking account, and he owes Connie and I over $300 for car payment and insurance for September. This job is $17/hour pulling parts at a plumbing supply warehouse.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

I'd love some of that heat, Steve. I'm hearing the furnace run as I type this. We are well into fall. High today in the mid-60s.

    Hope the new job sticks.

I'm driving down to Salem this morning. Siblings and I are meeting with an estate sale company and a real-estate appraiser. I plan to bring back two pieces of furniture my dad made back in the 1950s. I just can't bear to have them go to strangers.

    Good Morning,
We are in early fall with lows in 60's and highs mid 80's.
When hurricane came up last week we had cloudy damp days with highs in 70's.
Congrats to Collin, hope this works out and he finds his calling.
Safe travels Dave, if furniture is something you and Rita would use Go for it; I have furniture in my basement that kids wanted from family estates I doubt they will ever use; they wanted but not enough to make room in their homes for it and they believe me and DW need to keep for them. Oh well they will have to clean out this house one day.
Camping trip sounds as it is to a beautiful area Mike, you would still need a Motel 6 or Days Inn for me.
Lee, back to road race today? Hope you and girls had a great time.
I have NO envy for moving but it sounds as you and DW have everything planned out Bill.
Bob you have always been a good example giving me something to strive for.
Had PT this morning true torture and pain.

Well I lost my post this a.m. I really am sending good Ts and Ps for Collin and hoping for the best with his job.
Hope your PT is working Sam. I am having a pesky knee and shoulder right now.l hrmph!
Yea Dave safe travels to Salem. I still think of that wonderful Woolen Mill and that Heritage site a lot.
I myself am having a pesky knee and shoulder that I am babying a bit.

    Cheers.

    Good Morning

A bit late checking in. I hope Colin sticks with it this time. Back to work after trying to recover from 3 hard days. I just walked back from dropping the car off for an oil change and tire rotation. I am still fatigued and a bit stiff but ready to give it another push to the weekend when everything but the garage needs to be done. We have been cool with some off shore weather passing by. It looks like some slight rain landed in the wee hours. Next week back in the 90's. We are in the worst part of fire season for us. I could smell fire somewhere walking home from the dropping the car off.

    Late check in here.

Not frozen shoulder, but got the cold shoulder many times. Not a pleasant experience.

Good luck to Colin. I had a parts picker job in a warehouse for awhile once upon a time.

Well, nearly packed up; leaving in the morning. Five hour drive, last two miles dirt road to my site. Will post bigfoot pics if I see him.
