- Thanks Mary, the coffee is good.
- I need to be preparing for our motorbike trip to VA next week but with the weather forecast I'm not that excited. I'm hoping it changes one way or the other. Less rain and it will be a nice trip. More rain and we'll probably call it.
- When is the homecoming, Lee? Absence does make the heart grow fonder.

Good morning BBB friends.
Today is a furniture moving day. We're taking delivery of two new recliners sometime in the afternoon. My old, broken, worn out recliner will go outside, where I can break it down into trash can sized pieces. I'll salvage whatever looks like it might be useful. I have jars and cans full of random nuts, bolts and parts, collected over the years. Every now and then they produce just what is required to fix something.

DW had a spectacular day exploring the city by boat. Trolley. And, foot. Wonderful sourdough lunch. And capped by a wonderful evening at the USMC club for dinner.
Evening happy hour setting up iPhone 16. And then transferred my 15 to replace DWs 14.
Driver picking us up soon for trek to valley.
Tucker has been transferred to friends home with other fur baby friends.

Morning gang
It's our anniversary today. 22 years. We have nothing planned but will likely go fir a hike soon and then there is an art show at the Plaza tonight. Back is still hurting a bit but walking doesn't seem to bother it. It's really sitting for long periods and bending.
I'm going to volunteer at the thrift shop that supports the medical clinic one day a week. As part of my onboarding we went to dinner with several other volunteers last night. Fun to find some friends already. Several that I really like volunteer on Saturday vs Friday so hopefully we will still all do things as a group. Already invited to a Halloween party. It costume not optional so will need to be thinking on that.0 -

Lodge had a pancake breakfast this morning, done what I could with one hand and arm.
Widow Son's (motorcycle club) had ride and fund raiser for Circle of Love. I could not ride because doctor referred question to physical therapist who said not yet. I have not ridden Toad in over a year. Therapist says doctor needs to do more work on shoulder.
I could spend months in Napa Valley, spent couple weeks back in 80's and only got to a small portion of wineries, in 90's there were so many more; understand now many have been consolidated but there are still many small family wineries.0 -
