Happy belated Anniversary Ron and Steph!
Yes, I am hoping DW grows fonder of me while she is away. I am a real PITA. Next Sunday is homecoming but today is cleaning and laundry day because the grunge and disarray has gotten to where even the cat is disgusted.
Spent the day with DS#2 yesterday. We met at a hunting preserve over in New York for an early season chukar hunt. It was really fun and great to see him. He turned 34 last week.
Looks like Skip and Carrie are living large in California.
I like to eat chocolate chip cookies and I try not to eat my friends. Snoopy makes an interesting analogy.
I remember me dad getting impatient with exercise restrictions after his shoulder surgery. Hang in there, Sam.

Going to be a beautiful day today: sunny and 72. The younger wing of the family is coming over after church to look at some things I brought back from Salem.
Leather recliner delivery went smoothly. Now the family room smells like new shoes.0 -

We had cloud cover all morning until about 10 minutes into my walk and then *poof*. Now I'm waking with hot coffee and a blazing sun making up for lost time.
The donor conference was good, but my internal calendar is all messed up right now. I had to convince myself multiple times that today wasn't Monday...0 -

Today is our 50th anniversary, we will leave in the morning heading to Gatlinburg, TN where we spent a few days 50 years ago. DGD is coming and staying with Pablo.

Good Sunday Morning BBB Friends.
- Welcome to Fall, although you wouldn't know it here. After a cool week we are supposed to hit 94° today.
- Happy Milestone Anniversary Sam and Joanne!
- I worked slides at both the Traditional and Modern services this morning. Following the lyrics on some of the modern hymns is not the easiest thing.
- Motorbike trip to VA is looking really iffy. Lots of rain predicted in the Roanoke area and my riding buddy's cat is terminal and nearing the end.
- Napa reminds me of touring Sterling Vineyards back in the early 80s. You take a cable car up the mountain to the villa for the tour which was wonderful. In the tasting area I was telling the tour guide how enamored I was when she whispered in my ear. "Then I won't tell you we are owned by Coca-Cola." It has since changed hands several times.

We went for a hike this morning. It went well but got pretty hot before we made it back to the car. I foresee a chill afternoon on the patio.0
