Good morning.
You can always count on FB to find a way to punch you in the feels. Five years ago today, we were in Segovia seeing the aqueducts and fulfilling a childhood dream. So much has changed in that time with the move to Texas, new job, losing my parents, etc.
You don't realize at the time you're doing something that it's the end of a chapter in your story and on to the next, but here I am with moist eyes drinking coffee. 🤷1 -

Those FB reminders can be pretty poignant at times.
It's warming up for one day, so I am taking off for a hike, while I can. I am heading up to a high meadow area by Mount Rainier. The last time I was there was two years ago. It was warm and sunny, but three days later the meadow had three feet of fresh snow. Today should be near 70, but the forecast for this weekend is mountain snow.0 -

My favorites are the crazy messages from my mom a recent one sent as a post not a DM "Dont know where you are traveling (I was working the travel job then) but big storms headed your way, or at least to Ron. You should check on him"
100% describes her in two sentence. Passively aggressively telling me I should call her to tell her where I am, always following the weather channel, and knowing Ron prefers never to be called unless the world is ending. ❤️
It's gotten hot here again after the hurricane cool front left. But not as humid here so bearable. Ron's in the hot tub, enjoying the view. He build our bikes yesterday so i assume we will go for a ride today. Hope my backmis up to it, seems fine sitting here but we will see.0 -
- Could've swore I posted this morning....hmmmmm. Slept late after that long redeye flight and the time change.....feel good to have gotten some sleep!
- DW and I share a FB acct but mostly for dog pics and to stay engaged with our active adult community.
- DN(iece) came by to go to notary w/ me to sign Medical POA. I don't trust that DW will "pull the plug" when and if necessary
- and added her to all my accounts as a POD beneficiary. DW doesn't want to update her stuff. SMH! - Dropped Jeep off at specialty shop for some grill lights and grab handles install. Tucker at Daycare with his frens enjoying Treasure Hunt Tuesday activities. LMAO!
