- 1p Nat's game with DW and some friends. Last game of season for us.
- DF arrives midnight tomorrow. What could go wrong? I'm sure he'll be in a joyous mood!

It's only 68 this morning while I'm drinking my coffee. Not see-your-breath temps, but not upper 70's with a warm beverage weather either, so I'll take it. And don't worry - it'll still get up to about 90 today.0 -

Hope all goes well for our friends in the path of the storm.
Hope still lives for the Mariners, but we need Detroit to lose, and the Tigers end the season with three against the Chicago, arguably the worst team in the history of baseball. So, it goes.
Leaves are changing here, and the highs are in the 60s. We'll be in Las Vegas all next week, where the forecast is for triple digits. No there's some contrast.0 -

- All the prep is complete, and we are hunkered down for the storm.
- The Braves are 1 game out of a wildcard spot with 5 games left and yesterdays and today's games were postponed.
- Probably not a good time to be riding a motorbike in the Appalachian Mountains.

Hope the storm doesn't cause any of you troubles.
It's back up into the 100's here for a couple of days. Our hike yesterday was killer. We only did about 5 miles put the sun and heat really took it out of me.
We toured the high rise condo yesterday. It's a bit out of town (better biking), has its own gym and pickle ball and seems pretty quiet area, but with a new restaurant opening in a month right next door. The only units available for the snowbird special are on the ground floor (deal breaker) but she also showed us the penthouse. It was spectacular. Don't have a price yet but if it is anywhere near reasonable we will likely take it. I don't expect it to be....the smaller ground floor units were already at 75% of our max budget and this one was bigger, nicer and had a huge veranda with sweeping views of the sea and the mountains.
The one we plan to move to next sent the contract yesterday. The price he quoted me didn't include tax so it's now $450 more expensive than planned. Still in budget but we need to buy loungechairs and a TV for the bedroom/outside area. Probably still going to rent but disappointed. Going to send a note today. It's in the same condo as the one we are in. This one is now only $50 more per month and has 2 extra bedroom and a hottub. The new one is slightly nicer but the 3rd guest room is a separate Casita.0 -

So, after my July trip to the ER. I FINALLY got in to see a dr Had an ultrasound this morning. Came back as a golf size ball lesion inside my liver which is benign. They’ll monitor and recheck in 5 years. Next is the lovely colonoscopy which I’ve never had. Great.0 -

Flooding in this part of TN. Will head home in morning, hope pass over mountain is open will save me several hours; expecting high winds starting early morning.
They are predicting hurricane force winds of 75 miles in our area with higher wind gust and over 6 inches of rain. Hoping to get home before major impact hits.
Storm should continue on into TN with additional rain on top of current flooding.
Currently have a guy cutting my grass till approved for me to do, also hoping to be cleared for riding toad next week.
Dennis, Monday through Wednesday area around here was covered with Harleys even in rain, today not so much.0
