Good morning.
The duct cleaner came by yesterday and says there's a ton of mold in the ducts. Recommended having all ducts replaced. Apparently the previous owner had a similar problem and painted over it? So the patio door and window replacement project is on hold while we figure out this new problem.
It does explain why Cecilia wasn't really getting over Covid though. She's in the place all day getting a snoot full of spores.0 -

Not a good day for some when out walking Pablo see sheriff's vehicle come in neighborhood then County Coroner; couple moved in a couple years ago husband died a week after they moved in, Shelia stayed to herself and we never saw visitors there; today two younger folks came and parked in drive, reckon children.
Trimmed about 6 shrubs Monday, will try and trim those from drive to front steps today,
Skip you can't let dad get to you that way, he is old and not going to change no matter what. My father could always find a way to embarrass me and/or brothers.
Lou you should be able to find a chemical that will kill mold, British Airlines had a chemical they developed that worked great for mold in planes and air systems. I'll see if I can find name for you, give me a couple of days; we used at jail in a fogger.0 -

Great that you are able to get out and do some work in the yard Sam. The shoulder seems to be coming along very well.
I'd be leery of any cleaning service that recommended a major repair, especially if they have an interest in doing the work. Get a second opinion, Lou.
Skip, the suite is a bit disappointing. It is on a low floor with some sort of decorative lattice work outside the windows, so not a good view, and the room is overdue for updates. It's fine, just not the luxury we had on our last trip. I am up a few hundred bucks. We're pretty small-time gamblers anyway.0 -

Yikes Lou. Sounds frustrating.
It's another hot and humid day. I'm up earlier than normal so we can get in a bike ride this morning. I'm ready for fall....there appears to be some interesting routes we can take but it's been so hot I don't want to get too far from home. I don't bounce back in the heat as well as I used too. Not sure if it's being 50 or the extra 50# I have, or likely both.
My goal today is to book a doctor appointment for me. It's been quite a while since I've had a check up.0 -

This guy doesn't do the work and offered no business cards for other folks. Just said that a straight cleaning wouldn't solve the problem and recommended replacement.

It's definitely fall here,
sunny low 70s. Going to cut back some plants in my gardens later.
We are closing and winterizeing the "guest" camper and taking it to our winter storage place this weekend.

How does one get a complimentary room in Vegas? Players club card points for that specific hotel casino or???

Lou, "Vital Oxide" now used by most hospitals to disinfect, kill mold and mildew. Recommend put in vaporizer and start with return vents after cleaned. Price has dropped greatly since COVID is over, back during COVID it had gotten to $250 a gallon if it could be found. At jail I bought a fogger machine and made sure every floor, ward and cell was treated monthly.
