    • Well, the Braves didn't look like they were trying and Astros (who I hate) scrapped and made the last couple innings pretty darn interesting to watch!
    • Lou - isn't it just easier to pack up and move? What about insurance since you went through the whole pipe burst thing some time ago......
    • SGM - yeah, sounds sorta 70's chic "suite".....does the bed accept quarters and jiggle? 😎
    • Pounded out a pretty long letter to DF yesterday. DW says "don't send!" Conflicted. He owes (US) an apology.....nothing less!

    • Sorry to hear about the mold Lou. Whether you spray, replace or move, you need to get rid of it. Skip brings up a good point, could it be a remnant of the pipe issue and be an insurance claim?

    Rita is behind, I'm still a few hundred ahead. No jackpots - at least not at the level requiring hand pay and tax documents. Our room offers come from MGM which operates a bunch of casinos and hotels in Vegas and around the country. You use one player's club card for all of them. Our accounts are linked so that our total gambling is recorded. We also charge all the food etc. to our room, so we get credit for all we spend, too. The offers have shrunk some the last couple of years. We have been loyal to MGM properties for the last 10 years. Maybe that helps, too. Our biggest expense is airfare. We have talked to people who receive free plane tickets, too. Those guys are the ones in the high limit rooms who lose thousands without batting an eye.

    Kind of looking forward to getting home tomorrow. I miss my dog.

    Morning gang

    Headed to town for the gym this morning and a doctor appointment this afternoon. Mostly a check up but I've also been not feeling great lately. I'm expecting to be told I have high cholesterol. I was border line last time and have gained some weight since then. Sigh. I'm ready for cooler temps so I feel like getting in better, consistent exercise.

    Gorgeous day in Indiana. I just mowed the yard. Dh had eye surgery yesterday. I thought I should do it.
