    Good morning!

Frankie decided that 5:00 was the time to get up both yesterday and today.

Today will be a rest day, but I do have a few "puttering" type things I'd like to do today.

Lee, your Yankees got the Royals yesterday, but that is all they get.

    Have a great day!

No ribbons for the girls this weekend. Great weather, competition, and friends. LONG drive.
Can't imagine that kind of heat, Bill. Thankfully, Monument area in Colorado has a very similar temperature range to the climate here in NW CT. The frost dates are a bit later in the spring and earlier in the fall, so a shorter growing season.
Getting things done around the house and then meeting a friend with his dog at the clinic for a procedure that he couldn't get done at his regular vet up in VT.
    Go Yankees!

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

Baseball in October? Not up here. It's all football now.

Sassy was ecstatic when I picked her up. I took her for a walk when we got home and she walked the first mile right at my side, staring up at me the whole time, as if making sure I was really there.

A few months back I reached 162 pounds, and I talked about reaching the 150s. Yesterday I was at 173. I signed up with WW again. Just drifting wasn't working, and I don't want to let complacency set in again.

    Good Morning

I am glad Sassy is back at your side, Dave!

Sam, Congrats on getting out on Toad even if it was just a short ride. Progress!

Yesterday’s loading went well. We were done as the temps hit the 100 mark. The UBoxes appear to be new and a big upgrade over what we saw at UHaul. They each have 2 locking clamps on the steel doors. So I had to buy 2 more locks. They gave me a 10 hr pick up window but I don’t need to be here so…. Another 104 day before we start cooling tomorrow. I am here giving the plants one last soak. They are drought tolerant but not drought and days of 100+ strung together. The rest of the day will be primarily for rest and healing of our battered bodies. It is good to be done with the hard stuff. 2 trips to the dump is all that is left for us.
