    • Up early. Haven't slept well all week. Long week ahead.
    • HOA budget meeting tonight. Ugh.

    A Tucker haiku:

With the warm sun on our faces, I grip the wheel.... my mind heavy. Yet, beside me, nestled close, rests the head of my loyal companion, Tucker. He doesn't speak. He doesn't need to. He knows. In the quiet of the open road, his simple gesture becomes a lifeline—an unspoken reminder that I am not alone. Though hidden from view, his eyes radiate an understanding that words could never capture. His presence is steadfast, a silent promise of unwavering love. In moments like these, the bond between man and dog reveals itself in its purest form. He reminds me that through every trial and every ounce of hurt, there is solace in the love of a friend who asks for nothing in return but to be by your side. #mansbestfriend

    Mornin' BBB

    Love my master;
    Thus I perfume myself with
    This long-rotten mouse.

    I lie belly-up
    In the sunshine, happier than
    You ever will be

    Today I sniffed
    Many dog behinds—I celebrate
    By kissing your face.

    I sound the alarm!
Paper boy—come to kill us all—
    Look! Look! Look! Look! Look!

    I lift my leg and
    Whiz on each bush.
    Hello, Spot—Sniff this and weep

    I sound the alarm!
Garbage man—come to kill us all—
    Look! Look! Look! Look! Look!

    How do I love thee?
    The ways are numberless as
    My hairs on the rug.

    I sound the alarm!
Mail carrier—come to kill us all—
    Look! Look! Look! Look! Look!

    My human is home!
I am so ecstatic I have
    Made a puddle

    I sound the alarm!
    Gardener—come to kill us all—
    Look! Look! Look! Look! Look!

    I Hate my choke chain—
    Look, world, they strangle me!
Ack Ack Ack Ack Ack Ack!

    Sleeping here, my chin
    On your foot—no greater bliss—well,
    Maybe catching mice

    Look in my eyes and
    Deny it. No human could
Love you as much I do

    The cat is not all
    Bad—she dots the neighborhood
    With Tootsie Rolls

    Dig under fence—why?
    Because it's there. Because it's
    There. Because it's there.

    I am your best friend,
    Now, always, and especially
    When you are eating.

    My owners' mood is
    Romantic—I lie near their
Feet. I fart a big one.

    Good morning, folks.

We get seasons here, Kelly. 8 months of Summer, 6 weeks each of Spring and Fall, and a month of Winter.

We took care of most of our tickets for things to see in Italy yesterday. Left ourselves a free day in Rome and one in Florence. Still need to get a ticket for the Duomo in Venice and then I think we're done shoveling money to Viator for a while.

Heading to Midland tomorrow for a donor event.

    Oh look! A squirrel!
I have to catch the squirrel!
    That squirrel was fast. 😢

My dream trip Lou. Sounds wonderful.

It's chilly here at the lake this morning 36F. But toasty inside. Catching up on some Monday morning emails then I'll ride along wi dh to pull the 31ft Jayco guest camper ro storage. The new 42ft gets picked up by the dealer end of Oct.

We are home for 2 weeks now helping dsil with her back surgery Friday. Dh will stay at her place to dog sit. I'm sitting in wait room Friday for her surgery. I'll remote into work from there. She has old failed hardware from previous back surgery being replaced. Sound familiar?

It's so peaceful and quiet here. Not even a car has come past yet this morning. Like no one is around. There are a couple nasty red squirrels making their clatter on top of our wood pile shelter. They must go!

    Have a great day BBB!

    Morning gang

    Fun poems guys

Mary I'll ask my sister about knives. She is a chef so will have an option in all price ranges.

Mary do you know abou the Farm Art Dtour. I think it's pretty close to you. A friend recommended.

We have used Wusthof knives for many years. Good steel that takes a razor edge and holds it well.
