Hike with DD went well yesterday, though we started late and had to loop back halfway to the summit. Got a great sunset view nevertheless from a lookout along the road down. Almost rock scrambling on the steep trail up; she skipped like a grasshopper and I huffed and puffed along, stopping along the way. Boy am I out of shape. Followed her home and had her delicious homemade chile.

Thought I was heating water for coffee but I don't hear the kettle whistling...

    Good morning!

Mike, I'm glad that you got out with DD. Is this the one that spent time in Bali and Hawaii?

Bill, I pray that you and Heather have a safe trip tomorrow and that although you have a ton of beautiful memories from California, I pray that you will create a ton of beautiful memories in Oregon as well.

Connie and I are going to see the new movie Conclave this afternoon.

I really dislike getting old. For those of you who have had shoulder issues and/or weak stream, gotta go frequently, how do you know when it is time to see the doc?

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Glad you got out for the climb, Mike. Good incentive to work on that fitness.

Woke up this morning and can't see well in right eye. I've tried my artificial tears to no avail. Left eye is fine. If this doesn't clear up, I'll have to contact my ophthalmologist. Right side has always been my good eye. Fingers crossed.

    Good Morning,
Cool here this morning but will warm into mid 80's.
Pablo wanted out about 6:15, put him in backyard for about 10 minutes' let him back in and back to crate, still wanted out. 7:45 DW got up and let him out. Now he wants to go for a walk.
Dawgs have a bye week, so day not centered around DW watching game.
So tired of campaign ads be glad when November 6th gets here.
I've been dealing with arthritis for many years but my advice is to go ahead and contact doctor when one gets tired of pain, they may not help but know how to dish out pain pills where one does not care. Not a way to live.
Pray girls make you proud Lee.
    Safe travels Bill and Heather.

Yes, hiked with DD who has now moved home from the tropical islands and other faraway places.

Dave, hope yer eye is okay.

Steve, I put up for awhile with that, finally got unmanageable and saw a urologist who put me on finasteride. I think better to see doc sooner; it usually gets gradually worse.

    Good Morning

Dave, sorry to hear about your eye. I will pray it clears today

Final day here in California. A little later we will meet up with our son for some time together before we go. This will be hard. He's struggling in life right now, so its hard to leave, but we will continue to love on him and remind him he always has a home where ever we are. It's why we refuse to move into a 55+ community. My other son has a bad cold, so Heather will likely drive his car or drive with him since he is very tired. Final trip to the house to drop off mailbox keys, and spare keys. We will knock on a couple doors to say goodbye one last time.

Steve, some things I end up seeing a Dr when it comes up during my annual physical. That is how I ended up seeing a Pee Dr, etc. Otherwise it was as Sam said.
