    • Where'd the weekend go?
    • Yesterday's Nascar Race in Miami and the afternoon spectacular finish of the Redskins (errr, "Commanders") was epic! Truly epic! With a struggling Giants next week, I am thinking we are in good shape for a playoff berth!
    • Long day ahead. HOA budget work session. As the treasurer, the Board is going in opposite direction of my Finance Ctte recommendations. Should be interesting.
    • Today is DF birthday. We remain estranged. I mightve poked the bear by sending a VERY sarcastic card to him last week (unlikely helping my plight).
    • Au re-voir, Lou!

    Cheers,

    Mornin' BBB

I agree about spending a little extra for a good night's sleep. Especially good for us aged folks with aches and pains, without having an adjustable bed, my sciatica/piriformis issue would have had me sleeping in a chair.
So good to hear Ron is feeling good enough to fly again. Thinking of the southern hemisphere?

    Good morning.

The test pack went fine because I understood the assignment. Everything I needed had to fit the carry-on, so I picked accordingly, and it all fit the first time. I don't think I'll need underwear anyway, right? Meanwhile, Cecilia needed 2 hours to pare things down. 🤣

We leave on Thursday, so save the arivaderci stuff for them, cuz some of us have 7 meetings on the calendar today.

    LOL!

Signs you're getting older #44: You start packing six days in advance… because spontaneity is for people with better knees and shorter pill organizers.

    LMAO!

    Good morning BBB friends.

In the last 15 years, the only place we have flown is to Las Vegas. We never need more than a carry-on. The flights are always full, and they always ask for volunteers to check their carry-on bags. We always volunteer. That way we don't have to mess with overhead bins and our bags are the first to get to the baggage carrousel at the other end.

Taking Rita to an eye doc appointment today, where she will be dilated. That will dominate our day. Can't do much else when one of you can't see.

    Good Morning,
    Back from physical torture,
I've never packed more than a day before trip, over years have learned less is best.
Don't wear self out before trip Lou.
I know we are to honor our parents but sometimes it is best to be done from afar.

    Morning gang.

Ron is a way ahead of time packer. When we had the house the dining room table was full of his stuff weeks before a trip. It super came in handy the year mom died and we flew to tropical vacation 16 hours after her funeral after not being at home for a week. We could literally pack the suitcase in 10 minutes as everything was out. Only had to transfer toiletries from one bag to the other.

Several hundred motorcycle drove by the condo several times last evening. It was loud but fun to watch.

Yesterday's hike was a killer. It was HOT by the time we got home and not much shade in the desert. Took the rest of the day easy.

    Had a great day all.

    That sounds wonderful Steph!

We are accumulating way too much stuff at the lake. Sighhhh. All is tucked away and ready for winter. I just collected a bag of pinecones for crafts. We are hooking up the utility travel and heading out now. Always more enthusiastic to set-up in April. ETA to homestead 5pm.

I switched a irl dr appt in MKE at 3:45p to a virtual via phone. Technology is great. Except when it's not. Glad we didn't have to rush out this morning.

Have a good rest of your day BBB!
