    Mornin' gents.

Back to the grindstone. I will probably vote tomorrow AM.
M's coffee is a bit off this am. She swears it tastes fine and she did her normal pour over routine. Maybe I have COVID and my taste is affected. I feel fine otherwise.
Great to hear eye is OK, Dave.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning!

The Chiefs did it again. Lee, for your fantasy team, Travis had a great game yesterday.

Bill, I am very happy that you and Heather are now in Oregon. Woot!

Mike, sometimes great sounding books are not so much. I have two books I checked out from the library, and I only made it about 100 pages into one of them. Now they are due to be returned.

Today is massive chore day. Included in the fun events are dusting, vacuuming cleaning the bathroom, and my personal favorite (not) the biennial washing inside and out of all the windows in the house. Sigh... Such a fun day planned.

    Have a great day!

    Morning.

Ended up not hiking yesterday but watching Patriots beat the Jets in final moments. Pats doing so bad this year DS says they won the "Loser Bowl".

Glad to hear the eye's okay, Dave. All that gorgeous scenery in those mountains you need good eyesight.

Some chores then definitely a long walk or hike. Very chilly this morning, I cut short my usual balcony breakfast and morning reflection wake-up time.

    Onward and downward.

    Good morning gentlemen.

We won't discuss NFL games. Seahawks stunk. On the other hand, prominent former Ducks, Herbert and Nix, both had great games. That brightened my day.

Hope the travelers make it to Eugene in good shape.

Rita has an eye appointment today, for a full exam, with dilation. So that will dominate our day.

Steve, you are retired now; spread stuff out like windows one day, dusting another then bathrooms another. Not my business but what does Connie and Colin do around house?
Stepped on scale this morning up 8 lbs. since they changed meds last week, believe those drugs will be put on hold; but pain levels are down.
    Any offers on condo Bill?
Closing on CO property still scheduled for Halloween?
Glad Dave's eye is OK, pray that Rita's are OK also.
Mike, I need to learn to stay busy like you, Bob and Dave.
Neighbor who has been walking Pablo having surgery tomorrow, so I will be looking after her cat and walking Pablo next several days, hope knee does not continue swelling.

Back from Depoe Bay on Oregon Coast. a "TON" of rain there (over 2 inches on Saturday for sure) Nice wave crashing watching and good times celebrating DW's big 80 BD. She really is just a kid at heart!!
We got over 1.33 inches in the storm From Friday to Sunday at our house in Beaverton near PDX and over .94 inches in one meqsured 24 hour period from mid day Saturday to mid day Sunday. We needed the rain. Very nice to have the family together (sans grandson).
Glad that your eye is doing better Dave. WHEW. Hope Rita is doing better or that Docs have a clue.
Watched a bunch of the Ducks game when I got home. They are the real deal so far.

    Cheers all

    Good Morning

Smooth trip up to Eugene. All went according to plan and we pulled in after about 10 hours with stops. My back, which was a concern, held up great with the help of a muscle relaxer and no lasting effects today. We got pretty excited to drive through a rain storm. We haven't seen significant rain in 6 mos or so. We have to head into Florence to pick up mail and finish some paperwork at the place we have a mailbox. Basically, today will be rest , groceries and unpacking/settling in for the next 6-8 weeks. Hopefully we will see some action on our house this week. I need to buy a scale as I turn my attention in that direction. Time to focus on that since we don't need to eat out too much now.
